Can this elastic be used for swimwear?

Yes but not a lot of elastic and not very strong.

Are these strips 35 or 36 inches long...do the sellers NOT know how many inches are in 1 yard???

Mine are only 34 inches long never measured them until now! Wow not what is advertised but I use them for doll clothes.

are these elastics 30 inches long? The reviews state that non of the elastic is a yard as advertised.

They may not have been exactly 36 inches. I know they were close if not exact. I was making waistbands for doll undies so it worked perfectly for my needs.

Can fold over elastic be used for sewing?

Yes, I use it for edgings on bag pockets

Small and many of colour

I though this is big size, but actually small size. But i got many of colour and can create with it. Check the size before you buy.

I love all the different colors.

This is exactly what I was expecting. I wanted colored elastic for some craft-show sewing projects and you really do get 40 different colors. This type of elastic looks "professional", has a nice finish for those projects where the elastic is exposed. I'm very happy with it.
