Very sturdy and effective fans!
I bought 2 of these fans to replace the OEM radiator fans on my 2005 Honda Civic. With my Mishimoto radiator and OEM fans, the engine would heat up to around 210 degrees when idling in traffic with the AC on on a 100 degree day. With these fans on my radiator, the highest temp I have seen was 195 degrees when stuck in traffic. The AC seems to work a little better at idle too. Once I install the custom shroud I built, I am expecting the temp to stay under 190. These fans cool incredibly well for their thickness. But be fair, the stock fans were 14 years old and probably worn out after almost a quarter million miles. These fans are also incredibly solid. The plastic they are made out of is incredibly thick and heavy and I expect them to operate reliably for many years. These fans are also pretty slim. I wouldn’t say that they are low profile, but definitely much lower profile than my stock fans, which makes a lot more room under the hood to work. The power draw isn’t a whole lot more than stock fans either. My stock fans drew 7-8 amps, these are around 10-11.The only downside I can think of is that these fans are pretty noisy. The noise isn’t extreme, but definitely louder than stock fans. The fans can be heard running inside the car when idling and can make it a little hard to hear when ordering food at a drive through, but they can barely be heard over the blower fan inside the car and can’t be heard over the noise of my exhaust while driving. I don’t mind the noise, but if you would be bothered by being able to hear the fans run than these fans may not be for you.Overall, I am very happy with these fans and I would buy them again if I have a need to.

It's a Spal
It's a Spal. Draws lots of air, uses lots of current, makes lots of noise (that's cause it drives air even when there is a radiator in the way...it makes 'em noisy, but also you get closer to the CFM it says on the box than many others) and makes your car run cool. It's a Spal. Generally I loathe brand names 'cause I find they spend more on marketing than product development. Or one day they decide to make more money by building what everyone else does and keep charging a premium for a couple years (I'm talking to you Optima Batteries) until everyone notices they are overpriced junk, but as yet, over 10 years and quite a few fans, they have never let me down. It's a Spal. Thanks Spal!

Spal fan ...
Same fan as being sold locally at an AC supply for double the price. If you're familiar with spal you don't really need a review.
