Very effective.
These are the best can openers we’ve used. Too many are useless, but these have never failed to open a tin cleanly.

Having researched "best manual can openers" this one came out at Number 1 and now I know why . It is simply fantastic . Opens any can with ease. Built from good quality material and works first time every time. DO NOT put in your dishwasher though as the heat will make the cutting wheel blunt. Just hand wash in warm soapy water to protect its longevity

Disappointed
Unfortunately this item didn’t last and has literally fallen asunder. I am surprised as kitchen aid have a good reputation.
