How do I stop the annoying beep that goes off at the strike of every hour?

While on the normal time display, hold the left button to show the alarm display and then press the middle button to toggle it off and on. If there are bars all the way across then that means it's on.

Yes, here tis
HOUR CHIME (stop watch beeps once every hour on the hour)
To set the Hour Chime ON, press and hold SPLIT/RESET then press
MODE (while continuing to hold SPLIT/RESET) until the days of the week
appear on the top of the LCD. To turn Hour Chime OFF press MODE (while
continuing to hold the SPLIT/RESET button) until the days of the week
switch OFF.

It is definitely not waterproof as I took it to the shower inside the plastic bag and it still somehow absorbed water and turned off. Luckily, it dried up after I opened screws.
