Best bike shoes I’ve ever had
Exactly the kind of shoe I was looking for. Personally I think they look great & They are comfortable just as a shoe on their own. I cycle to work & have to walk a bit around to get to changing rooms etc. So there’s no slippin & sliding that I’ve had from previous Bike shoes. The cleats are well recessed into the sole so you don’t sound like a tap dancer walking around (disclaimer: I’ve nothing against tap dancers!)

Order a size larger!
After two previous attempts to order cycling shoes I researched this product and even after reading the advice to order my actual shoe size (UK Size 8) after having some pretty disappointing sizing results with other brands, I disregarded the advice and ordered a size 9. They arrived and the first thing to say is that these shoes are very well constructed and well made, however I was absolutely right in ordering the next size up as the 9's fit perfectly. I have used them for a couple of days and am really impressed.

Overpriced and disappointing
For a product that has received rave reviews, my personal experience would be to avoid. The fit is poor, tight across the width and loose at the toes, the interior is both unpleasantly slippy and for a cycle shoe is less fitted and lacking even the insole of a normal trainer shoe, leaving an unpleasant feel when walking and what would be an extremely unpleasant feel when pushing a pedal (not worn for a cycle so they can be returned). Tightness over the top also impacts on the overall feel, and the long laces must be tucked away...laces are an odd choice for a cycle shoe, even an MTB shoe. I accept that this shoe has to be a compromise but for £85 you are paying for a shoe that is not significantly better than the cheap as chips alternatives and which you would be unlikely to wear for a ride more than 5 miles...certainly the much extolled virtue of a firm sole would be useless as you would rarely cycle at such range to see the benefit. Overall look is slightly cheap and again far below the standard I would expect.

Good product, but sizing is off
I am satisfied, got exactly what I expected. Listen to people here saying to go size up - I'm glad I did. I'm normally 41.5-42 EU size and 43 is perfect. The ventilation on top is great for hotter days, but you will need a pair of overshoes for chilly mornings and/or rain. They are easy to clip in and out, despite what some reviewers say. This is my first ever pair of SPD shoes and I haven't had a single problem with the mechanism.

Great looking cycling shoes
They look fab, not like cycling shoes at all, but obviously with a suede finish you aren't going to do serious MTB in them, but that's OK my cycling is pretty casual.Everyone says go a size larger, I'm normally a UK 9, sometimes a 9.5, so I went for the 44s; they're tight, there is no way I could wear thick socks with them!
