It works well
I bought the Guardian Pro + fall alert “watch” for my wife following her stroke. I needed a reliable sensor which would alert people I trusted to go to her aid if I was not with her an an accident happened. This does that. It took a little longer to set up than I expected, but that was due to not taking up the offer from the company to do it for me.Customer service has been prompt and efficient and once I give them access they can check any errors in my set up. My wife doesn’t walk well so we generally go places by car. This means that the refresh rate on location has needed to be reduced to two minutes. The knock on effect seems to be the recharging period but it still remains well over 24 hours and recharging is simple. I don’t regret buying the watch (which is also useful for telling the time) and can recommend it.

Unreliable, poor customer support and overpriced!
I bought a CPR Guardian watch for my elderly mother in January last year (2023). The watch was double the price it now costs, and it has also cost £43 a month for the awful service (or lack of service). The watch is very poor quality build and after around 6;months of use it required charging twice a day which is ridiculous because obviously it cannot be used for its purpose as an emergency alert when it has to be left on charge twice a day. When I was initially told the phone was fully set up and ready for use by my elderly mother after we started the £43 a month service plane, I told my mother to press the emergency alert on the watch, and when a lady answered she had absolutely no idea who my mother was and had no info whatsoever about her or her address or emergency contact numbers, so in an actual emergency it would have been a complete waste of time. I called to establish what went wrong and was told that they had put the wrong info into their system and hence why they didn’t know who my mother was (what a good job it wasn’t an actual emergency situation). They sorted their error and it did then work. Some months ago back in the summer the watch lost connection, and it transpired that the Guardian phone line system had failed. It took a week or two for their phone connection to come back online due to a technical problem to be resolved (thank god my mother didn’t have a real emergency during that time)., and it’s very poor that they have no back up system. Once the system came back online the guardian watch had to be completely reset which was an issue because my mother was over 100 miles away from me. I called the guardian support line numerous times and no one would answer, so I left several messages but no one called me back. After a matter of weeks of my mother’s watch not working, I finally managed to get hold of someone at Guardian who was actually unapologetic and said that they have been too busy to return calls and nothing is perfect in life (making me feel like I was an inconvenience). After some time he insisted that the phone was now fully reset and ready for use. I told my mother to do another emergency test call on the emergency button, but it didn’t call the emergency guardian line which is unacceptable. My mother lost complete trust in the watch and stopped using it. We have been paying for a service (£43 a month) that my mother has been unable to use for months, but no refund from Guardian. I sent an email to Guardian to cancel the monthly payments from the 1/1/24 and they have ignored it (par for the course for them), but in the past week have sent me exactly 8 emails saying they have been unable to take payment from my credit card???So my mother now keeps her mobile phone with her at all times which is far more reliable than the rubbish guardian watch and their rubbish emergency line along with their rubbish customer service. So my advice is don’t waste your money on the guardian watch. Such a shame that this rubbish watch has cost us so much money.Obviously make your own mind up, but I strongly advise anyone to not waste their money on a guardian watch and then pay £43 a month for such an unreliable service and useless customer support.

The watch is working fine
The watch is working fine with the function we need for emergency call to us or detect fall to call us in need.

Peace of mind
Having suffered a stroke at a younger age (51) I was searching while waiting to be discharged from hospital for a watch that would provide my family, friends and myself peace of mind that I was doing okay while at home during time on my own. The CPR Guardian watch not only provides this for us all but it gives me a steer on my BPM 24/7 and step count which really supports me informing the medical profession over a period of time how I am recovering. This watch also enables me with the emergency button/SOS contacts to reach out to friends and family as at the moment of my stroke my phone was too complicated for me, so the idea of pushing one button to contact my designated SOS contacts makes me feel safe. I even have the watch with a girlie pink strap which is a bonus ! The team at CPR have been absolutely brilliant, I have emailed and spoken to them several times while ensuring my watch and app was being used to its best potential to support my recovery and their level of understanding and customer service is the best. I have already recommended this watch to others and will continue to do so if you or a family member or friend is in a vulnerable situation. This is what the CPR Guardian is designed for over and above a smart or sports watch and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Tracking my father-in-law who has dementia
Disappointed in this product because we set up 2 GEO zones and it is very erratic in reporting when leaving and entering them, and sometimes doesn't report it at all. When the watch hasn't moved out of his room in the morning it indicates that he has moved around a lot and quite far, so I don't believe the GPS tracking is very accurate. When my wife went to find him, while he was on a walkabout, it indicated he had been to places we don't believe he had.So all in all, not very consistent in tracking. We actually only bought it for the GEO zone feature, so rather disappointed.

So far, just 3*...
I bought this for my daughter, who is epileptic and attends college 30-odd miles away. The tracking function is almost spot on (it will say she is outside house number 2 when she's at home in number 7) but it's good enough for an emergency. We can't get the 'fall alert' or sos button to connect, so I'm hoping someone can help when I get 5 mins to get online.I tried the call function from my phone, got through to a bloody 'hot girls are waiting for you' phone line and was promptly charged £2 for the privilege.I'm hoping the bits we're stuck on will be explained somewhere and if so, I'll edit my review to increase the star rating because I'm sure it'll be invaluable when it's fully working!
