Security camera
Very nice camera. It was an add on to my NVR system. Clear images. Stationary though. Would be nice it it scanned.

Good quality for the money
This is a replacement camera to replace a garage camera that failed. I live in Phoenix where summers get to 120F and the failed camera was in an unconditioned garage. The original camera lasted 3 years so I have trouble faulting it for that, but keep that in mind when you install it. The installation was quick and easy. It comes with all the cables needed to connect it to a Lorex system.

Smart Motion Detection Not Available
First of all, this camera performs quite well. I wouldn't say it's the best on the market but for the price it is a good camera. I started off with 4 of these and needed to add one camera with audio. That camera is LNB9252B.This camera is missing the audio as well as the smart motion detection. Now at first I thought I could live without the SMD but I quickly realized that it prevents my phone from being hammered with alerts. I really only need to know if a car or a person is in view of the camera and this model does not support it. It will just send you a generic motion alert. I only wish lorex was a bit more forthcoming about this.None the less this is still a great camera that is really only missing the audio as well as smart motion detection.

Lousy recording system for detecting events quickly.
Lorex has excellent customer service. Real people answering the phones and being very patient. However, it's a dreadful recording system. Trying to find events is so incredibly time consuming. Until I used the Ring system which is so much easier to find events on and get to the relevant parts I didn't know there could be a more efficient way of locating things on the video. However, Ring doesn't do a mutliple camera set up for apartment buildings, mainly for residential. I'm sorry to say, I am very unhappy with my Lorex system and look forward to replacing it. I can't tell you how much time I've wasted trying to locate events in the recordings. They have snapshots of movement events but it's still very very very time consuming.
