Nothing to dislike. It does what it says: gives you a bird’s eye view of how to do a movie and how it all goes. Great book!

This books really takes you there, you can picture everything that is being said. It shows the positive and negative aspects of different situations, really eye opening look at the film industry. I also cannot forget to mention that the exercises at the end of the chapters are helpful.

I have a friend who is writing a screenplay for a tv pilot and I knew exactly which book to get for him. Portable Film School has completely changed the way I understand storytelling and I cannot recommend it enough!

Awesome book for anyone interested in making their own film. It lays everything out for you from writing the script to shooting. The majority is about story and script writing which is the basis for any good film and it's loaded with a lot of useful information. One of the best film books I've read.
