Awesome Little Coffee Machine (Great Support from company)
OK, the first one I got was 2nd hand due to Amazon sending the wrong box :(The 2nd one I got was broken (no water made it to the pot) , so I contacted Hauswirt support and honestly they couldn't be more helpful. They first suggested I check a few components of the machine, but when that didn't work they wasted no time sending a replacement machine. So 5 *'s for the support, other companies take note..Now I have a working machine and it makes such lovely coffee from Beans. In the past i would grind my own beans then use a french press cafeteria to brew the coffee. With this little machine, just pop some beans in the grinder, fill up the water tank and then select the grind option (3 options available) and F (to use all the water, other less water options are available). It gets to work straightaway grinding the beans, then starts guggling away happily whilst it heats the water and pass it over the coffee, into the glass pot. Probably takes about 10mins to make a full pot of coffee, which it then keeps warm on the hot plate for up to 30mins. F will make about 3 (250ml) mugs of coffee.Super easy to use, but another benefit is it's super easy to clean afterwards. All you have to do is lift the whole grinding unit out, and give it a good shake over a bin. It comes apart so easy for cleaning, a quick shake, wipe and it's all clean and good to go again. One other thing, I always weigh the beans out, with this machine, I noticed I do not need to use as much as I used in the French Press. I made a full pot with 30g of medium roast beans, and it was very strong ( much stronger than the french press with same qty of beans). So I'm going to start using less beans which means it's a saving there too!!Totally recommend this machine, perfect for 1 or 2 peoples morning coffee :D** The machine will also make tea and you can use ground coffee in it instead of beans.

If you enjoy small, strong, cold coffee shots, this will suit you!!!!
We have a coffee machine at home which we love. It was our first and after reading reviews of this one, expected better. It looks good, threatened to provide great coffee in our motorhome but instead we get extremely strong, tepid coffee! Maybe if I left it standing for a few hours, it might get to be mildly warm. Sadly I bought it on 7th August, kept it for our new motorhome and have only just used it but the return date was 6th September and it's now 15th September.

Looks fantastic, easy to use and clean
Updatea few days after returning the the original Machine, i was contacted and sent a replacement a week later and happy to say after a a year an a half later it works perfectly.Easy to use and importantly to clean (parts dishwasher safe)I'd say on medium grind for 4-6 cups its a 5 minute brew to piping hot cup, easy to use and clean.Measurements are for small cups not standard larger mugs (i find 2-2.5 cups = 1 mug as in the picture)The amount of beans you use is down to the Brand/Strength and Personal taste - so experiment is required at the start(important) Be sure to do a pre use clean by rinsing all removable components in cold water, then a dummy first run with just water (full pot) to test the machine and flush the system.Overall - We're so happy with the product as it gives a perfect brew everytime (as long as you measure bean ratio correctly lol)

Very basic but does the job
Makes a decent pot of coffee but the parts are a little flimsy and if a pain to clean, but for the money I'm glad I bought it

Makes a thin watery cup of coffee
Nice compact tidy machine. Easy to use. Seems well made though of flexible plastic so not sure how long it will last. I found the coffee thin and watery. Increase the strength and it just gets bitter. Not as good a cup as my cafetiere so I returned it. This is not a German make though Hauswirt certainly sounds German. It's a Chinese company.

Fantastic coffee machine
I love the futuristic design of this machine. It's compact enough to fit easily and unobtrusively on the kitchen counter. Very easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee. It's also quieter than some of the bigger bean to cup machines I've used.Cleaning it is a breeze - the whole grinder and filter compartment removes as one unit which can then be taken apart to clean the individual parts. Overall I would thoroughly recommend the Hauswirt machine to anyone looking for a reasonably priced bean to cup coffee machine. Finally the customer service that Hauswirt provide is wonderful - answered my query very quickly!

Looks good and it is!!
I wanted a change from my pod coffee machine so I started researching compact bean to cup this one took my fancy so after watching the video and checking the user reviews I had my mind made up.This Hauswirt machine is excellent it’s is a very neat unit and looks incredibly stylish, easy to use and clean and makes plenty of great coffee.I’m more than happy with the size of jug enough for about 4 good sized mugs and there is no coffee dust left in the bottom of your mug which pleased me.Overall a quality product and came within a couple of days, I couldn’t wait to get it up and running!!I would highly recommend this machine.

Started leaking after 3 months
We decided to get a machine that didn't use pods and thought this one would be good, price point helped the decision. It worked great for a while, coffee was lovely but then the grindr wouldn't grind the beans completely so had to reduce the amount that was put into the area where the beans went. This was fine as there is only 2 of us but if we wanted to make a jug full, not possible!! Coffee was too weak. Even with stronger beans. Then we noticed that there was water under the machine on our countertop, we thought that it was something we were doing but it continued to happen and realised that the water was coming out the holes in the back. At times some water was left in the reservoir and wouldn't filter through. It looks great and was easy to use but had to send it back after 4 months. Reading reviews for this and many many others makes your head spin, so its a bit of pot luck you get one that you like and works well, everyone is going to have a very different opinion. Unfortunately ....ours with this one didn't end well.
