Works great, I thought I bought the dusk til few. One but it wasn’t. It is just sensored and works great. The light plates are plastic so I don’t like that but it still works great and hep me see well when pulling into the driveway.

I like that you can use different lightbulbs, spotlights and LED bulbs in this. For the price though you would expect it to be metal and not plastic but that is the world these days. It is an easy light to install although I had to call an electrician to fix my original wiring so it could be hooked up.

Over the last four years I have been replacing original outside floods with this product. The installation is straight forward. I use the test mode to set angle and distance then move out of test mode to set timer. Easy to read settings which is helpful for a 61 year old to see without glasses. So far I’ve installed five of these and they continue to work without issue. Will be installing a sixth this week. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the price.

Has way farther range than the one this replaced. Turns on even when cars drive by.

The media could not be loaded. First thing i noticed was the price of course!! Basically 2 for one! When I open the box, I didn’t notice that they are plastic. I was surprised but for the price that’s totally fine. It works for what I need it to hooked up really easy and we’ll see if it withstands the test of time!! Easy to hook up white white black to black ground goes around the green screw mounted toolbox real simple. Don’t forget to order yourself a 4 inch for mounting ur sensor light! Also, because it is a sensor light, I did mount it to a light switch so if forever malfunctions, I can just turn on and off the light without having to go to the box and turn off the power just something to think about! Took about 10 minutes to hook up after I ran the electrical line. if you don’t know what you’re doing hire a handyman or an electrician or ask your neighbor! maybe they know how to do it, but Do Not try and run electrical by yourself if u dont know what ur doing!. There is a reason they get paid a lot! Good luck!

As long as the sensors work properly, no complaints

I bought this fixture to replace an old motion sensing floodlight where the sensor cover was worn out from age (the plastic around the sensor crumbled after touching it.). The installation was easy, but I was a little alarmed about the lack of connecting a ground wire to the case but then realized that the case was plastic and therefore needed no ground connection. The motion sensing is quite sensitive and extends into the street of my 20 foot driveway. I may have to dial back the sensitivity, but for now it lights up when I back my car up in the drivewayI was confused regarding the Amazon rating for brightness as it came with no floodlight bulbs, I used my existing PAR 38 LED bulbs from the existing fixture.I liked the adjustment capability where I could position the light to light up both my driveway and front yard. The motion sensing is great where if I step off of my porch at night, the floodlight comes on. This is close to 180 degrees of sensing.One thing that swayed my decision is that this unit can be set to remain on continously by flicking the light switch off and on. I frequently set my light to remain on while I unload my car in the driveway at night. This was a priority for my selection. So far this has worked flawlessly. To reset it to motion sensing mode I only have to flick the light switch off and on again to change modes.Time will tell if the plastic case will last in the long term. But for now I feel that I made the correct decision.

My mom purchased a Utilitech 110-Degree 100 Wattage 2-Head Motion Activated Flood light from the local hardware store about 2 months ago. The motion sensor and timer circuit has already failed at turning the light off. It sometimes can not detect motion to trigger the the flood lights. Customer reviews on the local hardware store's website has some complaints about this same problem manifesting after five or more months of use. Also, this particular security light has none replaceable LED light bulbs.I purchased the LUTEC 1800 LM LED Motion Sensor with 3000K LED light bulbs to replace the junky security light purchased from local hardware store. LUTEC was easy to install. The mounting screw was slightly too long for the anchor bracket. I managed to make it work. After installation was achieved, light was tested for range detection before setting the timer to 10 minutes. The photo sensor has a built-in LED light that blinks when it senses motion. An 8-year-old security light that is similar to this one that is attached to the rear of the house does not have this feature.Both the sensor and timer works on this unit. It senses motion and triggers the flood lights and after 10 minutes turns them off.Lastly, you can use PAR38 halogen bulbs with these if you prefer those over LED bulbs.
