Same as expensive ones
Works great for the price is it two batteries, small and easy to fit in an extra box.

Sturdy enough
Seem plenty sturdy for attaching to life vest or harness. Uses two standard AA batteries. I used lithium for longest shelf life. There is an easy on / off button. Says it will light automatically in water. I did not test that but see the electrodes for sensing water emersion. I like this LED better than the more expensive strobe lights which could be blinding and disorienting in an emergency.

Everything you need, nothing you don’t!
Bottom line, this little light is designed to stand up to austere conditions and go the distance in an emergency water, or land, survival situation.

You get what you pay for, almost.
The good: cheap, they do workThe bad: not very bright, much smaller the expected, questionable qualityI’m not sending them back but I did consider it. Will use as backups to quality boat flares. But I don’t recommend them. Caveat emptor!

Not what is being advertised!!!
Batteries are required!!! Description is wrong. This is a flashlight that needs two AA batteries to operate. The unit is a constant on, no strobe light, and is not very bright so don't count on being seen from any distance. For a safety light that is being advertised as "(No Batteries Required)" I am very disappointed. I cannot recommend this for offshore or safety use.

Sturdy and reliable.
Easy to fit to PFD and shape does not risk puncturing bladder on auto-inflate models. Note this is the steady, not the flashing strobe.
