Excellent, except... HOLES
This is a great enclosure. Nice clear acrylic, sturdily put together. Wait, so why 3 stars ? I hear you cry... Well, there's a 95% too many ventilation holes in the lid. If you want to use this as I did, and as the listing says you can, and keep a tarantula inside, good luck keeping ANY level of humidity inside. Everything will evaporate, pretty much instantly. I've used scotch tape, which handily spans exactly 3 rows of holes. A popular competitor as 80 vents holes in the lid. This has 936. I just counted them. If you have a species that likes it bone dry, say a Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, this might do the job. For any species that needs at least a touch of humidity, look elsewhere. I should have studied the photo's closer, I'll admit that. I don't score a product down, due to my own shortcomings. BUT... the description says it's suitable for tarantulas. 99% of the time, it's absolutely not.

Arrived cracked
Overall it is not a bad little home for my scorpion. It did arrive with a crack in the front of it which is disappointing that it got past quality. It would be more of a hassle to return it for a new one than to just live with the crack. That said I think I will look elsewhere for my next enclosure.

Buy this
I have a sub-adult A. chalcodes in one of these and couldn't be happier with it. She's very happy too, I believe. Thriving.

I like, but…
I like this a lot, but I wish it came taller. This one is 12” L x 6” H x 8” W and I wish it could get it in at least a 12 x 8 x 8.

Simple
Simple clear box, my kids use it to catch lizards in our yard. Not for long term use.

Probably my favorite enclosure at the moment!
The media could not be loaded. Magnetic closureLong and FlatSide and top ventilationFair PriceWhite bottomStackableI have seen another review about too many holes for ventilation - I guess that depends on what you want to keep - the amount of holes is perfect for my mantis.I personally have mine turned sideways for my Tenodera sinensis (Chinese Mantis) and it works very for them. As you can see from the video I have a divider in there and a mantis on each side. If you are keeping a mantis the height of the enclosure should be 3x the height of your mantis length.

Awesome case for small reptiles, animals or insects...
THE GOOD:--------------* Acrylic is sturdy. Not cheap or flimsy.* Ample ventilation holes.* Magnetic closure is a nice touch.* Stackable if you buy more than one.* Spacious at 12x8x6 inches.THE BAD:-----------* Nothing at all. We've been getting so many crickets in our house, and our kids decided they wanted to keep some as pets. Though it's advertised as a breeding case for reptiles, it has been perfect for our purpose. We give it an enthusiastic 5-Stars!

Display Worthy Enclosure (High Humidity Caution)
Gorgeous enclosure that is well built and super clear. The lid closes and locks with ease and the box feels sturdy once closed. I see no issues with 80F temps but I can definitely tell it warps with high humidity. Also be careful when cleaning the enclosure. Sand will scratch it. Overall great enclosure but being made out of acrylic makes it weak to the obvious issues with that material.
