This is a good set to use with a drill of heavy duty rotary tool. For a cordless rotary tool 3 inch is a bit heavy and will bog the tool down. I would give 5 stars except there are some pretty big gaps in grit sizes. The kit jumps from 180 to 320 (no 250 grit) and then from 320 to 600. Once you get into the 3000 and over grit the font gets a little hard to read and the last couple of grits have no labels at all. For the price, fast shipping and accessories this kit includes I will buy again.

Was a little worried about wet sanding with my drill. Splatter is very minimal, don’t be concerned at all. Most of the water on my drill came from my wet hands after wetting the headlight between grits. Excellent kit, comes with enough sandpaper to do about 10 headlights or the same car years apart. As for the polishing and coating can highly recommend the Meguiers headlight restoration kit, combined with this wet sanding kit they are a match made in heaven. I love that it comes with a hand knob for hand sanding! It makes the final hand grits much easier to hold and conforms to curves. Use the drill for aggressive grits and the hand knob for finer grits.

This worked remarkably well. It takes just a little time to mask off the headlight and progressively go from coarse to fine, but the results are impressive. I started at 320 grit, went all the way through the finer grits, and then finished it off with Meguiar’s Keep Clear Headlight coating. I’m very happy with the results.

Great sandpaper for the value. I've tried higher priced paper for my DA sander. Might get a second use after a clean off, but is it worth double to triple the cost? This product holds up fairly well under somewhat extreme conditions. I am not gentle on any home projects, this stood uo for what I needed it for.

Liked being able to switch between grits fast but 1/8th shaft came in bent so was not able to use with dremel like I wanted to. Over all makes my work a lot faster being able to change without taking anything apart.

Really good kit. The intermediate foam backing plate accessory (included) is a must have for restoring headlights. My only complaint is the gap from 100 grit to 320. The 320 wasnt abrasive enough to remove the 100 grit marks. Luckily I had some 220 lying around.
