Great mystery
I love the twist and turns of this book. Every time I thought I had figured out the I was wrong. In the end, I couldn't put it down.

gripping
I really liked this book it started with a grab your attention start and kept it until the end. Had some very real life problems people face in life and the characters were definitely like normal people as far as Susan and her family and Liam. The twists and turns kept the one thinking about the time it was solved and the person or persons responsible were caught and motive exposed- wrong. Author did a great job of in the intent of distraction from all the crazy things in 2020 even though I’m reading it in 2022 it still accomplished it’s goal because the crazy got crazier and this is a exceptional distraction.

Excellent!
So far, this is a great series! Susan and Liam are in the early stages of forming a new partnership. Also, Susan is trying to single parent twins. She is struggling with balancing her life as a state police officer, with being a single mom. Liam is struggling with trying to learn how to be an investigator, and put his forensic science investigation skills to much better use. As they struggle to form a cohesive partnership, they are tracking a killer. You will be 100% shocked at the outcome! Betrayal of the highest level, extreme suspense, physical and emotional pain, and much much more!

Another well written police procedural/crime book!
Having read and enjoyed "Don't Ever Forget", I was pleased to see "Tell me the Truth", by Matthew Farrell, 2nd in the Adler & Dwyer series.Investigator Susan & forensics specialist Liam are assisting with an investigation into the brutal stabbing murder of a teenage girl.In Lewisboro NY, things are not as they seem in the affluent Moore family's home. Secrets, lies, misdirection, cover-ups, evidence tampering, lawyers & news media all hinder the investigators. There are plenty of suspects, twists you won't see coming and a "hold your breath" intense race to the end.

Can’t wait for more
I really hope there are more Adler and Dwyer books. This is too much of a great partnership to end after only 2 books! After the events of the first novel, Inspector Adler and Consultant Liam Dwyer are partners in the NY State Police. Their first case together as partners is the Murder of an 18 year old girl, right behind her family home. Things aren’t what they seem right from the start. And it will take both their investigative prowess, and a little help from the outside, to get to the bottom of the lies, family secrets, and mayhem.Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

Great story
I like the main characters. And the mystery is good enough to keep me interested even if I do figure some things out before they are "revealed". The writing is good and kept me up way too late!

Very suspenseful and lots of surprises.
I enjoyed the second book more. Glad to see the beginning of a relationship. The book had several twist and turns and it did keep me guessing but it may have had a few too many twist and turns. I will read more from this author. I think once I get used to his style of writing I will enjoy them more.

Thank you Mr Farrell
In the past fifty years I have read three mysteries that I hadn't figured out within fifty pages. This is one.

Absolutely Brilliant
Jenny Moore's life was just beginning; she was going off to college, away from the confines and secrets of a home life which could get very scary. At eighteen she had the whole world at her feet until her mother found her dead in the woods behind their house.Investigator Susan Adler has a new partner, Liam Dwyer, and together they begin to look into Jenny’s murder and almost immediately it is clear things don't add up. While the family lawyer is brutally restricting and dismissive, Jenny’s dad tries to hold everything together. Her younger brother is quietly thoughtful and watchful especially of her almost catatonic mom, who has retreated inside herself away from the horrors that haunt her. This is a brilliant book which compliments the previous three installments. There are so many layers to this story and every time anything becomes remotely apparent more twists and turns appear. I love Susan Adler, she is an understated but very effective main protagonist and Liam Dwyer compliments her in the best of ways. There are spoilers in this, especially with regard to the first book, and so maybe read them in order if you can you definitely won't regret it.I was able to read an advanced copy of this book thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. This was a real pleasure to read and I loved everything about it.

Loved the development of each character. Also the twists and turns keeps you coming back. For people who really enjoy murder mystery novels. I’m not one of them but this was like watching an episode of Dateline.
