They Do the job
The glasses arrive the next day as promised, I put them on - total blackness, I took a look at the Sun and there it was. Nice and clear. I have no complains about the glasses. We are ready for the Eclipse.

Looking at the sun is risky business.Even though these are up to 6x more expensive than others (or more!), there's no way I'm risking my family's vision on cheap eclipse glasses!Fingers crossed for nice weather on the day of the eclipse!PS: Nice to see the price dropped (sad it didn't before I purchased them...), this will hopefully let everyone use good glasses to look at the eclipse
