2mm = Proper size for an Asus Strix RTX 2080ti 11G primary VRM - There's your middle finger Asus
PSA: The 2.0mm Gelid thermal pad is the proper size for a Asus Strix RTX 2080ti 11G Gaming's primary VRM which is located directly underneath the heatsink. I wanted to ensure I posted that information, considering Asus refuses to distribute that information to the public when requested. So, via the wizardry that is a digital caliper, I was able to uncover the impossible. Measure the correct pad size, purchase it, install it and verify proper contact. All for the purpose of providing Asus a much deserved middle finger here on Amazon. XD Totally worth it!That being said, the Gelid Solutions GP-Ultimate 15W- Thermal Pad 120x20x2.0mm pad performed wonderfully as expected. Brought my VRM temperatures down by 6° at the desktop and surprisingly a whopping 12° under 100% load. So definitely worth the upgrade if you're looking to ensure longevity from your card.I haven't replaced the thermal pads for the VRAM, nor the VRM located underneath the support bracket, but rest assured, the second I do, I will make sure to provide that updated information both here in this review, as well as within a second review located at the corresponding Gelid pad size in the coming months.Asus anti-consumer, anti-right to repair policy's are easily bypassed with a magic wand called a digital caliper, which can easily be purchased here on amazon for $10 if you want to contribute to the middle finger movement. Mem Temp From 110c to 74c - MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio
I bought this because my Mrs. RTX 3080 memory temps are 110c when mining, even when the PL is 50%. That's the max temps for the memory. So technically, it is throttling.I own other GPUs, the RTX 3070 LHR, the RTX 3080 Ti (LHR), and the RX 6900 XT. They have very cool temps (70c - 80c) stock when mining. So I went and bought the 1.5mm and 1.0mm thermal pads from GELID. I applied the 1.0mm thermals pad to the memory. The 1.5mm between the heat pipe and the metal plate (nearest to the power connectors), AND between the heat pipe and the VRMs? (nearest to the HDMI, DP ports) because the middle VRMs have no imprint on the stock pads. Anyways after the nerve-wracking surgery, I installed it back on my Mrs. desktop. The Memory Temps stay cozy at 74c at 60% fan speed. We only started mining three weeks ago when the dip happened/market crash—time to start mining for our next upgrade.

Worked great for laptop CPU VRMs
Many don't change out the thermal pads when doing an overhaul. These pads work wonders for replacing pads that are of a larger gap. I used these on a Sager laptop with an older Coffee Lake CPU. The difference in cooling is night and day. These seem to transfer much more heat than the old generic gray goo that was left on top of the VRMs by the factory.I used the leftover amount on an old Mac Mini to bridge the GPU on the bottom of the board with the metal shield below. GPU temperatures dropped immediately and it runs much better. Would buy these again!

Extremely slow shipping because it comes from China before they re-label it
Not as pictured, also beware you will have to wait for them to ship it from China so they can pretend to mail it to you from Idaho afterwards. I’m a little skeptical on how long this stuff will last because a little bit of the excess I trimmed off, dried up super quickly and practically turned into chalk within a couple hours. It is also extremely stiff compared to other thermal pads I’ve used of the same thickness.

Worked for moving monoblock
I recently had to send my motherboard in for an RMA, and needed to take off my monoblock to do so. Thermal pads are usually one time use, so this small pack was just what I needed. It took a while to find one online of the right size, but this worked pretty well after being cut down. Have no complaints.
