Robust & Elegant
I've had this product behind my door for over 3 years now. I normally have up to a dozen items hanging from it including heavy items like my backpack and big coats. The rack looks and works like new. Good quality. The only thing to watch out for is that wet coats and what not will eventually darken the paint. You could mount a protector similar to the splash guard behind your hob. But I've just opted to run the paint roller over it once in a blue moon.

Good Looking & Fit for Purpose .... for now.....
I ordered two of these - one for each main bedroom with gloss white doors. My existing coat hooks served a purpose, but on the downside when the door was opened 90 degrees to the threshold, the backs of the hooks would bang into a partitioned wall, which over time left rather unsightly marks.Delivery was swift, and the items well packaged with no dents or scratches present. One thing I did notice upon opening was the excellent quality of the natural wood. It was heavy, thick and just felt like "proper" wood. Although the only thing I would say as a note of warning is that this is not slim line - it's roughly 1.5 inches thick. So it will stand quite proudly against any door or wall its affixed too.In addition to the rack, there's a couple screws, raw plugs, brief multi-language instructions and a paper template for you to use when drilling the holes (Personally I preferred using a tape measure/spirit level and pencil). The instructions focus more on fixing the rack to a wall rather than a door, but the principle is the same (bar the raw plugs for doors)In total, it took me 10 minutes to fix both racks to my doors, and they looked really nice & professional (obviously if you're fixing to a wall just to precautions against what you're drilling into - i.e. gas pipes, water pipes, electrics etc.)7 out of the 10 hooks (5 for each rack) are in use with relatively light clothing appropriate for a bedroom. I do wonder, however, how long the designer hooks will stay housed before they start "flopping down" at their own prompting! I think they remain housed purely based on a tightness between it and the surrounding wood. But given time and lots of use, this friction will gradually wear away and the hooks will no longer stay in place. As a consequence I will only give this 4 out of 5: It's really nice right now, but whether it will show the symptoms highlighted above 12 months from now only time will tell.

Very Study and stylish way to hangs coats
This is coat rack is brilliant, had this for ages now and hang all coats etc on it. The hooks take all weights of coats and none of them have broke, bent in fact the rack looks as good as when bought. Ideal in a narrow hallway but can be put anywhere and the beauty of being able to fold in the unused hooks means a more flush look especially as coat racks can usually look a bundled mess. The rack is very strong and sturdy and if it ever does break which it shows no sign of will definitely purchase another.

5 Hook Floating Coat rack
I like the ease with fitting it, (a paper ruler is supplied which you mark then transfer mark to wall - simple but makes the whole process of fitting idiot proof). I like that the hooks can be recesed when not in use, so you dont catch your hand when retreving the other hung items. Very pleased with product. Thank you.

It is as per the photo, and it works.
Used it provide coat hanging facility in the entrance hall. The fact that the hooks fold away means that there is a "clean" appearance when it is not in use. The overall design is (in my view) pleasantly "neutral" in that it is neat and tidy , it does not look old fashioned, not yet ultra trendy. It should blend unobtrusively in either a traditional or contemporary setting. It is easy to fit - drill two holes spaced according to the distance between the mounding slots/ It does come with what is described as a template, but is actually just a printed paper ruler - I used a retractable flexible steel ruler. Any ruler would do. You will need a drill, a masonry bit and a star screwdriver, all necessary fittings are provided in the box.
