Enjoyable to make & looks good amongst all the others in the cabinet.

We love Lego in my house and this set is great. For my husband to build and son to play with. Is nice to have 2 cars so can race.

Good double pack at good price. Kept kids busy for couple hours

we got this for a 7yo boy for xmas. it was a good challenge, he did one car each day, probably 2-3hours for each car. the c8r is very nice, and pretty sturdy.the maroon 1968 is what i was really looking forward to, unfortunately it has some drawbacks. first off, the colour somehow comes off wrong, it somewhere in between matte and glossy, but shows all the smudges and fingerprints to the max. the stickers are clear with printing rather than colour matched maroon with printing. in theory this sounds good, in practice, you can see any dust, oil, fingerprints, air bubbles, etc much much easier once applied. finally, the roof of the car is connected only on the ends at one point for each single strip, they are not connected. we added a a connector piece in the middle, otherwise this is continually falling apart when handling the car.

1968 one is just perfect, simple look but instantly recognisableNewer model is also great, doesn't have to many small parts that easily fall down then kid is playing with it, so it normally stays in one piece and you don't have to search for a lost mirror or exhaust pipe or whatever

Does what it says. Quality Lego set.
