This is exactly what I was looking for--I wanted something that could do gentle exfoliation and then go turbo hardcore mode if I was feeling like rubbing sandpaper on me. This is great because you can apply gentle force or just really dig in and customize your exfoliating experience.I like the design in that you can go all weird with it and do some flossing-style cleaning with it or you can bunch it up like a handheld loofah, or even fold it and use it like a normal washcloth.This is perfect for my face, my head, my back, and really all the stuff in that Ow'E Jive song (you know which one).I have no idea what material it is made out of (I did not translate the packaging and didn't read the description too closely here) but it feels EXTREMELY durable. It is very easy to wring and hang to dry.I feel like this has a long lifetime before it needs to be replaced and it would probably be recommended to replace it before it actually breaks down--not that it collects bacteria or holds water etc but I feel that this would last long enough to be left to the future generations in a will like a tortoise. And nobody wants to inherit a tortoise. Or a washcloth for that matter.Anyhow it's great and I use it often and I feel extremely smooth afterwards.

I have gotten atleast 5 people on to these exfoliating clothes. I’ve been a believer in regular exfoliation since my teen years, and always get compliments on how pretty my skin is. I do an in depth scrub “everything shower” twice a week with this. Want the best shave of your life with no ingrown hairs that lasts 2 days? Want to be so soft you practically slide out of your bed sheets every morning? You need to use this. Want soft elbows and ankles? This product right here. Want the most even, and flawless self tan? THIS PRODUCT! It’s rough and tough. It’s not that same cheapo mesh on that old loofa you have hanging in the shower. Also pro tip: use a hair clip to hang dry this in your shower, no musty smells like a loofa.

Once you use these, you'll likely never go back to anything else. To start fold it up and wash your front, arms, legs etc. Then unfold, grab one end in each hand, and scrub your back, exactly like you use a towel to dry off. Your back will definitely be cleaner than ever before, because you'll get a complete scrub all over it, even the hardest to reach places normally. Try not to let it be in the direct line of the shower spray when you're using it, as that would of course quickly wash the soap off. It does sud up nicely. When finished washing, just rinse it clean under the water, and hang dry, it will dry quickly.You can even wash it in the washing machine. But don't put it in the dryer, just hang it instead. Again, it dries very quickly.I've been using this for a few months now, and have ordered 2 more of different colors. This is the hardest one and I find I like it, but there is actually a smoother version that's slightly smaller and is also cheaper. I have not tried those yet, I just like these so much I don't even bother to switch. I do think the grey and blue ones look a bit better, but that's personal preference. Also they both look almost the same shade too.A really great loofah might feel a tad better, although won't clean as well and it will be harder to get your back. But the problem with loofahs is it's very hard to find a really great one and they need to be replaced and sanitized too often. So for me these are the only bathing tool I will be using going forward, unless I somehow find something even better.

I was really skeptical about whether this would be a legit towel from this brand, but it was! This scrubber is very coarse just how I like it. Buyer beware that if you're not someone who likes to feel as though you're washing with sandpaper, don't buy this. It really helps exofilate your dead skin off, but it is very coarse.

I used to use the generic soft mesh scrubby things you get at big box stores, which cleaned just fine but didn't work very well in terms of leaving skin smooth. Tried Italy cloths, but those just irritated my skin without doing anything else to help. This cloth, though, is great. It works gradually, and you'll have to use it for more than a few showers to see results if you're being fairly gentle, but it's really helped smooth out rough patches without leaving my skin red.

I have been looking for/buying lots of "hard" wadh cloths since a black one from Daiso disappeared....FINALLY!! THE ROCK HARD WASH CLOTH IS BACK!!! My dry skin is disappearing wash after wash!

Excellent scrubbing cloth, generous size, about 3'x1', firm fabric with reinforced ends.Needs a hanging loop, had to add one.

I like to exfoliate. Chemically and physically. This guy will take your skin off in the best way possible. I love these towels. I machine wash mine and they come through just fine.
