Totally Disapointed
Did a test, deposited $20 in Bitcoin.Next peeled of back sticker and cleaned with WD -40. Tryed to send to my Coinbase Wallet, said it was an Invalid QR code. Tryed again with my Ballet wallet, which accepted the import. But paid $8.00 in transaction fees, Leaving $12.00 left Really??? WTF Now to send to the coinbase wallet was $2.00 more. Lost half my money. So is there a 40% fee to release the coin from the Cold Storage coin?? If so that’s BS. Give 1star just for Good Looks

LEAST SAFE BITCOIN STORAGE OPTION AVOID!!
I am a long time Bitcoin user and the claims this product makes about being “easy” and “safe” couldn’t be further from the truth. This is the hardest way to store bitcoins for retrieval in the future. It’s one time use at requires destroying the coin to redeem and it’s the hardest possible option short of copying the private address by hand.Far more importantly is how insanely and inherently dangerous this product is. It MUST be assumed that this company is malicious and that they have full lists of all the keys they ever generated. Even in their “patent pending” security setup there are so many egregious oversights of trust it’s crazy they can even sell them period. Please do yourself a favor and Never buy these to use. They are collectibles with no value as a wallet. Whatever you do DO NOT fund any of these coins thinking it’s safe for anybody. Especially yourself or loved ones

Careful: may have received counterfeit or not-so-private private key one. $400 lost in 6 hours.
Updated:Wow! Great customer service and I contacted them over a non-issue. When you read my problem below, please be advised that the app sometimes cannot connect to the blockchain right away, so the app will show $0 due to a lack of connection. If that happens, just check back later. Your BitCoin will be there. For me, it took about an hour of freaking out.I emailed the company and just asked what I had done wrong, as 9/10 it's human error, and I figured I screwed up and someone stole my funds -- though, for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how, as it seemed hack proof. It is. They emailed back with in 30 minutes and told me about the bug and said they are working on it. They even followed up with another kind email. Awesome customer service. No problem. This thing is great! In my safe now, after showing it to my wife all day and trying to explain to her how it worked! :-)Original Post from Two Hours Previous:I am missing $400 in Bitcoin I transferred to the coin earlier today. The app now says 0.0000.Here's the skinny:I received my coin today. Set it up. Unusual, but there wasn't a photo of the coin as it said there should be in the app -- instead an "image not found" error.Everything else worked well. Manufacturing date and all were there.I used the Public key to send money to the Coin from Coinbase (very easy) and Binance.US. Simply scanned the coin's public key. After sending from Binance.US, about an hour later my $400 no longer shows up in the Coin App. It's zero.I haven't peeled anything off the back. The sticker is still on, so I'm not sure how the money was taken, unless... someone in the factory took the private key or it is a counterfeit. (Though, I don't think it was. Looks and feels legit.)Anyway, I'm quite disappointed and pissed. This coin simply lost $400. (Someone somewhere figured out how to steal it, I'm thinking.)I'm buying a Ledger S! I'll let my kid sit with this and have fun with the coin. It's probably worth $5 of entertainment. :-(Will update my review if someone from the company gives me a hint as to what the heck just happened.

Is quite simple to use.
There's a negative comment about this coin that's total GARBAGE!!! The transaction fees have nothing to do with the coin. If he paid $8 to send his BTC, then he got ripped off by whatever service he was using to send out his BTC. But he's just lying, because his comment makes NOOOOOO sense. All the coin is is a coin with a receiving address on it, and they give you the info to get access to your keys to send the BTC out. Simple. And the reason they give a 5 year time frame to take hold of your keys is because they don't want to be held responsible for the receiving address they created for the coin forever. The coin makes a great gift for people who don't understand BTC and need help understand it to realize how it's going to revolutionize how everything is done in the world. I put 0.001 BTC on it for them and it cost me a 25¢ transaction fee. I could make it less too, but I don't care to bother. It's just a quarter. And yes, I recommend using the Nano ledger for storing more BTC long term once people understand how BTC works, but this is much cheaper then a Nano ledger for someone just learning.

Beautiful wallet!
Exactly as described. I have a traditional 1oz copper coin, and can confirm that the weights are equal. The key etched in the back is etched deep. I wanted mine for purely for looks (maybe a little fun money on it to store over the decades). While getting the tamperproof cover fully off the key in the back (which you normally wouldn't do until the time of spending), I scrubbed it to death using all sorts of chemicals, WD-40, CLR, soap, toothpaste, you name it... And not only did the key and coin hold up, it shined. (Note, you do NOT have to do all of that to use the key, I just wanted my back as shiny as my front).Overall satisfied with my purchase. Note this is a "one and done" wallet, meaning funds go in and can stay in the key on the back for decades or centuries, but the second you USE the private key to send the funds OUT of the coin, the key is "used" for all security intents and purposes.Note, you can monitor the public key still to make sure your bitcoin are still there without compromising security.
