I am not an IT guru but have to say that this cable works even better for me than my old one. I love the thin and flat profile and flexibility, installation was a breeze. The set also includes Velcro fasteners and lil plastic brackets with nails. I used a double sided sticky tape instead and just laid the cord down on the baseboard. The color is exactly the same as the baseboards in my house, blends in perfectly.

The length of this cord is great, I carry it everywhere with me because I work from my laptop & need Ethernet connection. Works fine so far.

Works well, thin enough to run along the floor with a low profile. Cable came with extra ties, which was nice.

Not exactly cheap, but worth what I paid. I bought these in 6", 12" and 36", and used them to clean up my computer "closet" (see photo). They work at 2.5G and probably 10G too, though I am not using them for that. Well made, and available in a great mix of lengths.
