Heats and cools quickly. Excellent for clothes-dying pot.
I bought this as a clothes dying pot. It is lightweight, HUGE, heats and cools quickly. Works perfectly for my needs- and came at the right price point. Some people might prefer a heavier pot, but their backs had better be in better condition than mine.

Great lobster pot
WARNING: Purchase of this pot may result in many lobster deaths.Amazing, inexpensive pot. Great size. I can easily fit upwards of 4 lobsters in this thing. The biggest challenge is washing it in my kitchen sink--it's so huge!

Perfect thrifty heat-less mixing pan
All I intend to dedicate this for is mixing corn mash before putting it into a glass carboy and without heating it on the stove and for that it's perfect..For my money though it might be a little thin for cooking something like chili which doesn't like to be stirred that often. That's why , in good conscience I couldn't rate to 5 stars since most people will want use it on the stove. If you want it for that i'd put it in a frying or pizza or bacon pan so as not to sit directly on the burner.Any of you guys out there testing it with magnets thinking it's aluminum ARE MISTAKEN.! 303 and 304 Stainless ARE NOT MAGNETIC . . . 316 might be weakly. magnetic because it has more nickel in it 400 series is magnetic because of some ferrous alloys in it. This pot is likely 304 because stamped pots is 304 Stainless steel's primary application purpose . . . It's just real thin that's all. Too thin to be aluminum.

Perfect
Love this pot. We got it to make a seafood boil for five people, and it worked perfectly. It was actually bigger in person than I thought it would be. My sister loved using it here so much that she had me order her one for her house.

Sturdy yet lightweight
I use this to soak fabric in the tub. It's not heavy and holds just the right amount of fabric.

NOT stainless steel!
Bottom line: steel is magnetic. This is absolutely not.It's silver. It's shiny. But it is lightweight, cheap and NOT stainless steel. Save your money.
