Bought this because I needed to increase my Vitamin C intake and realized how much more I’m saving versus buying it in pill form. I love that it’s PURE Vitamin C with zero fillers, non-GMO and that my family can take as little or much as needed and has lasted longer. If you look at Vitamin C pills, there’s other ingredients added. There is also a convenient little scooper included. Dissolves well. I use a water bottle and shake it a few times. Taste is a little tart, but you get used to it and is far better than taking 2-4 pills at a time, in my opinion. Also, great for those who have a hard time taking pills. I've been happy with Micro Ingredients products. The vitamin C is very TART in flavor. The scoop is small, so I suggest to put it in a little bit of water, drink it fast, then take a larger glass of water after. I'm just starting to use this and I gave it 5 stars because I know it will work. The stars are not based on the favor. It is very tart. You'll get used to it.

July 28, 2019 update. The last two orders came not as fine powder as before. More like crystal and and takes forever to dissolve and then it doesn't dissolve fully. If this happens next time, I'll change toa different company. Great product, very easily dissolves. I take 1 tsp 3 times a day. My kids take 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. More if anyone gets a bug from school. When allergy season hit here, 1 tsp in a cup of water got rid of my husband's symptoms in 5 minutes. He's been suffering with seasonal allergies for many years and nothing has worked so well. Some days he had to take it twice, others once. And no other additional medication. Now he just takes a preventive small dose. Half way on our second bag and the third one is in the pantry so we don't run out.

While I’ve been pleased with the product, (I have bought several bags over the past several year), this most recent bag I was confused to find a much larger scoop inside but the label is the same. So, either the new scoop is delivering a full tsp of vitamin c (which is equivalent to 10 smaller scoops, and to use TWO scoops of the new size would deliver 20,000 mg vitamin C instead of 1,000mg), or, I hate to even consider it, is there now a crap load ton of filler in the vitamin C and the new scoop is actually the correct size to make two scoops be 1,000mg? Either way, this is a massive issue that needs addressed. I’m giving 5, stars because I have been so happy with the product all these years. If I order another bag and the new scoop remains the same massive size with the label stating the same information, I’m going to have to change my recommendation and brands because either I’m going to be massively overdosing myself, or the price for value is not a joke. In the meantime, I’m going to assume that there new scoop is the equivalent of 10,000mg and only use 1/4 tsp to equal 1,250mg.

I've been using vitamin C powder for probably 50 years. Take a rounded 1/2 teaspoon AM and PM, a little over a gram each time. Great for the immune system , plus it builds collagen. Collagen is the supper structure under the top layer of skin. When the super structure doesn't have enough C it shrinks and collapses therefor developing facial wrinkles and also arthritis. I'm 90 years old and don't have either. We are the only animal on earth that does not produce its own vitamin C. Baffles the scientists. Years ago when my kids were children, their Dr. told me to give them 3 grams of C every three hours if they had a cold. sore throat, flu etc. No antibiotics needed. (I rarely get a cold or flu and I do not get the flu shots) As you get better, you will develop diahrea so start taking less C until you are completely well. I also like Bulk Supplements brand of vitamin C. Google it or go to doctoryourself.com. Prepare for a long read. Vitamin C is good for so many things. Don't miss a day of taking C.
