+ Yes easy to assemble-/+ people say sturdy, yes for a metal box frame, but it's also very light, which means it can shift or slide or rock potentially.- major downside, it's so very obvious the 3 middle down supporting struts will snap sideways. They are held by only one screw each and the legs are thin. Sometimes the middle struts are the highest, which means all the weight is on one side and the middle, if you have even a slightly uneven floor the bed can get stuck rocking on the middle struts.The design flaw is that these struts are not height adjustable. The entire weight of the bed can be put on these struts and if the bed gets shifted sideways then the struts definitely won't hold and will probably sheer. It hasn't happened yet but it's very obvious.The struts are there to stop the bed bowing, and in most beds there is either a little gap so there's some give, or the strut is extremely thick and strong like a leg.I could use it without the struts, but I'm not sure how well the bed would hold up over time.If you have very thick carpet or don't move the bed at all (difficult since a thick mattress will be top heavy) this may be okay but I'm debating sending it back now.

This was one of the easiest beds I've ever built..seems a solid frame and the added anti slip mattress slates are an added bonus.

Great frame that easily support a couple, if you are looking for cheap but good quality and can take a banging this is the way to go. ;)

Bed was much higher quality than I expected for the price. Originally bought as a temporary fix for spare bedroom but seems sturdy and will hopefully last a long time. Had nice added touches of antislip tape for mattress and ratcheting wrench included. Easy to assemble, managed it on my own in under half an hour, would probably be quicker with two. Lightweight and simple so fits nicely in our small third bedroom. Also nice height for decent underbed storage space.All in all very happy with the product and guests have reported it as comfortable! Win win and would recommend!
