7" inch Universal Slim Fan Push Pull Electric Radiator Cooling 12V Mount Kit Black

I bought this 16" Universal Slim Electric Radiator Cooling Fan for my 2005 Ram 1500, and I’ve got to say, it works great! It moves a lot of air and really helps keep the engine temperature down, especially when I’m stuck in traffic or idling for a while. The fan is slim enough to fit easily in tight spots, and I like that it can be set up as either a push or pull fan — super handy depending on where you need it. Swapping the polarity and flipping the blades was quick and easy. Installation was pretty straightforward. The mounting kit that comes with it works fine, though the plastic ties could be a little stronger — I might upgrade those later. Just a heads-up, it doesn’t come with a relay or thermostat switch, so you’ll need to grab those separately if you want it to kick on automatically. For the price, the build quality is solid. It’s lightweight, not noisy, and the airflow is surprisingly powerful. Definitely a big improvement over my old fan. Purchased 2 to help cool the engine compartment of mini Excavator. Works well after reversing a blade. One blows in, the other blows out. So far, so good.

Great overall fan. Switch the wires around if you need it to push or pull for your application. I used the push method on my setup, end up put in the fan in front of the condenser, wired it up to a 5 point relay and my wiring was pretty simple and fan turns on when I turn on the AC. The wiring picture I have provided is how I wired in the fan to a relay.

I purchased two 14" electric fans for a supercharged Foxbody. Installed the pair simultaneously. One fan burnt up within a month of minimal usage. The other fan is still going strong, with no complaints (get what ya pay for). If I would have contacted the seller about the failed fan, I bet they would have replaced it. My own choice to shrug it off. I have an electric water pump as well, and I must say this individual fan works pretty well in conjunction. A belt driven water pump would probably be insufficient at low engine speeds with a single 14" fan. Now that I'm driving the car more during the summer heat, I'm noticing my temps creeping up while stuck in traffic on 85-90 degrees days. Has not exceeded 220°F yet, but it will. Simple solution, buy a bigger stronger fan. All in all, these cheap fans gave me an opportunity to gauge the integrity of my cooling system and kept my car cool in "prototype" stages.

Second one that I’ve had of these, I’m impressed for the price, and pretty good quality decently durable, they can push or pull air, everyone who says it’s a lie, you just have to be smarter than the product, there’s two wires and ground and a hot, how you wire them is which way the direction will go, blue to ground is push through, if you reverse the wires blew for hot, it will pull air through. Hope that helps anyone who is looking to get one.

Very strong air flow. Replaced my radiator fan in my 1999 kawasaki prairie 400 4x4 with this fan. Never has any issues keeping the radiator cool.

This is a 1yr follow up review from purchase date. I installed 2 12-inch fans on a W22 workhorse chassis RV to replace my auxiliary fans. OEM parts were not available from the maker, so I decided to go with this as an alternative. They were very close in Fit to OEM fans. With anything that's not OEM I had to do some modifications to the mounting bars so the holes line up & slightly adjust the bar. I used (Ancor 211428 Marine Grade Electrical Nylon Insulated Double Crimp Funnel Entry Fully Insulated Disconnects with Insulation Grip (Female & Male, 12 to 10-Gauge, 25-Pack) from amazon to connect old to new wires. I did not have to use the provided mounting hardware due existing mounting setup. The fans are powerful. Noise level wise I can hear them when they turn on. This is good for me to know if I don't hear them then something is wrong. They operate as good as the previous fans & still functioning 1yr later. The price point & quality are a plus.

Doesn't seem to push a lot of air... When I get stuck in traffic we shall see.

Arrived Amazon Fast...well packaged, undamaged. It's made of a fairly thick, nonflexible plastic. Hand spinning the blades showed no warping or looseness. The fan comes with three edge inserts that insert it into the fan's edges. giving you a location for mounting with screws. As well as three springs if you want to mount your fan off the surface it's attached to. Zip ties were also included. I mounted my fan using the inserts and HD zip ties against the inside of a mini excavator. I was amazed at the powerful blast of cooling air - everything I wanted.
