Great snips!
Wow are these sharp!! I love them! If I had one teeny tiny complaint it would be that because the handles are metal (which is great!) this also makes them a bit "slippery" in your hands. I solved this by running a very narrow bead of glue from my glue gun onto both sides of the handle. Now I have a great grip with them. I really love using them for snipping threads while I quilt and the also come in handy for my crafting (which is also fabric related). Oh, and as a bonus quilters, you can use these as a seam ripper. The pointy ends are super sharp and super pointy making it easy to slip under the thread and give a quick snip. Do this every 5 stitches or so, then just pull the back thread away. Very quick and very easy!I bought the ten pack and they each come in their own pouch (which you can use to store them in for safety when not in use since they are designed to stay in the open position when you set them down). Each pouch is separated by a perforated line. Be careful when cutting or tearing them that you don't cut the side of the pouch open (like I did). This was a great purchase for a great price. I really like them and recommend them.

Great clippers. Buy them in bulk!
These little snips are nice and sharp. They're easy to use and the big pack that I bought has each pair of snips in it's own resealable plastic pouch (all of the pouches are connected). I use these to cut labels and tags from clothing, They're better for snipping and short cuts. The design isn't conducive to cutting deep into large pieces of paper or fabric because the blades are so short. It can be done but large scissors are much easier to use in those situations. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality and value and would buy them again.

Avoid these.
I saw a lot of good reviews and they were older reviews. I’m assuming they were good then. A lot of the recent reviews were bad experiences, and I thought maybe they were just people who likes complaint and boy was I wrong! These scissors don’t even close! It seemed as if they were treated so bad when shipped? Or maybe just manufactured so wrongly. There were so many pairs and not a single one worked. They were so nice looking but didn’t open and close. Whatever efforts I did to make them work would just pinch my skin. It seems like the blades were put on backwards. I returned them and I’m not looking into reordering from this posting.

Quality is good
Blades are sharp, I tested by cutting threads right at the TIP of the blades which is a spot that some snippers fail at cutting right out of the box.As others have reviewed, if they break right away, chances are you have a lemon. The 12 I've received were all sharp at the tip. Though some were sticking slightly when you fully close it (No sticky residue, possibly the blades were too tight together)If you bend it the opposite way, then the sticking can be solved somewhat. The tightness may contribute to how smooth it slides together (blade on blade friction). They're called THREAD snips. Using them for anything other than it's intended purpose (like paper) isn't really a valid reason to dock a star like that individual who gave it 1 star lol..

Very Oily
These were purchased as giveaways for customers, but instead they ended up in the trash. I wanted to return them but Amazon indicated they were not eligible for return. They were all extremely oily. Having purchased a different brand of snips before, I understood they come lubricated, but the ones I received were literally coated in it. I tried cleaning some but as soon as you put them back in the holders, they're coated again. Sending these along with packages of fabric would just mean my customers fabric may end up with oil splotches on it. In addition, quite a few of mine had misaligned blades, making it impossible to cut with. I'll go back to the other brand.

Great little snippers
Great little snippers. I go through so many of these that I was thrilled to find them in quantity. I use these all over my sewing room. From sewing to serving to embroidery and crochet. They stay sharp and if they do dull I don't feel guilty if I toss them.

Some scissors are poorly manufactured.
Three of the twelve scissors were not working at all. The scissors don't close their knives to cut, they got stuck when I tried to cut. One of them did not keeps its shape, it opens its knives by its self. I just want a product that works good. Is that too much to ask for? Sorry for the bad review, I'm upset for paying for something that does not work.
