The black ink XL cartridge had run out on my HP Inkjet 4155 printer. At first I went to an office supply store's website where I usually get my replacement cartridges. But this time the prices had been *ridiculously* raised from what I had paid in the past, so I started shopping around for a lower price and a better value. That's when I found the Economink Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement on Amazon. I was leery of ordering a remanufactured cartridge because in the past I have had bad experiences with HP's dreaded "this is not a genuine HP ink product" error message -- as well as problems with leaking ink, etc..But after reading the description on Amazon I decided to give this one a try, mainly because the price was literally less than half of what the office supply store was charging. When it arrived this afternoon I installed it in my printer and was pleasantly surprised that the printer immediately accepted it with no problem at all. Then I printed a test page and got another pleasant surprise: the printout from this remanufactured cartridge is significantly darker and more vivid than the OEM HP ink. And you KNOW there must be quite a difference to be able to visibly notice the improved quality of black ink!So quality : five stars. Value: five stars. As far as longevity goes, that remains to be seen; but if it matches the quality and value I expect that too will be better than HP's ink.I'll be buying my ink cartridges from this seller from now on. I'm a very satisfied new customer.p.s. Just one note: I was a bit confused at first by the cartridge until I realized that there is a plastic cap over the printhead. I got out the tiny instruction sheet that came with it and the exact instructions say, "Before installation, remove the plastic clip on the cartridge (need to use some force)" LOL, it really says that! At first I was afraid I was going to break something because it was a bit hard to remove, but I finally was able to pry it off grasping it by one end and pulling back on it).

The XL has more ink and lasts longer than the basic 67 cartridge. The price was reasonable and so far, I like this cartridge.

Printing was good, printer recognized the cartridge. No issues thus far. will see how long it lasts.Update: lasting for a long time after printing a lot of items! Will purchase another soon

I had been concerned about trying remanufactured ink cartridges for fear of poor quality, but finally prices drove me to make the leap - so glad I did! The quality has been just as good as HP and the value is unbeatable.

I had an actual HP brand new ink that couldn’t be detected by my HP Deskjet plus 4140. I cleaned, restarted, unplugged but after numerous tries I gave up. I didn’t want to spend too much on ink just in case the printer itself was wonky so after some hesitation I ordered this brand. I was afraid it would not work and my printer would not acknowledge the cartridge and be incompatible. Because I needed it for important documents and didn’t want to wait I ordered last night and received this afternoon. Arrived securely packaged, easy to install, and my printer recognized the ink cartridge right away. I immediately printed at least 50+ pages. No steaks at all! Will be ordering again. :)
