This will allow you to connect your laptop up to an ELM 327 adaptor which will facilitate communication through a USB port using MELCODIAG. I got mine licensed and the software works perfectly for diagnostics on my Ducs!

It works on my 2019 Ducati V4, 4 pin connector plugs into your yellow or for some other models might be a red connector. I used this with my cheap “$20” universal OBD scanner to read a code and clear a check engine light. Very simple and straightforward, this will save you a lot of money in the long run.
