Excellent "Key"
Having had to pay someone to open and refill the Evo Protecta Box (and it costing a fortune), we found this "key" here on Amazon.ca.Fits great by pushing right into the special slot to pop open the top and allowing me to top up the rat bait which one can find on here too. Obviously not as strong as "industrial" standard, but it meets the goals of stopping infestation promptly enough.Until we did some studying, we honestly felt the bait station was "specialist kit" and we'd be lumbered with another c $300 visit to help tame some passing (rat) traffic.For less than $20 we now have access to the station (which has lasted more than 3 years already) and have sufficient refills for the next "round of rats" passing through!

It's a key, it opens the trap.
What else can I say?Even if mice steal it they are unable to use it. Too big for their paws. But I do keep it in a safe place.If you wanted any color other than black you are out of luck.if you have some weird Klingon trap it might not work.I suspect that the plastic may fail after 20,000 uses.While small, I doubt it would be a good stocking stuffer or birthday gift. At least for most people.

Couldn't obtain a key from the pest control company, so this was the next best option.

Saved on pest control contract
Previous owner left two outdoor bait stations I contacted the company to get a quote on servicing them ( open box put in fresh bait blocks) for they said sure for a starting contract of 200 and a yearly fee of 99. With this and a some hardware store bait blocks I’m good
