Grates hard cheese very well. Easy to use. A little effort for cleaning, but worth it. I found using toothbrush useful. Great grater

I had another similar plastic grater. Handle broke off in less than a year. After returning to using my old hand grater for a couple years, I tried this. It works perfectly. It feels sturdy. I can put about a 4 oz block of Parmesan in, and it grates it, with an occasional flip of cheese as it gets down on circular blade.This is for firm cheese like Parmesan. It will not work with soft cheese like Mozzarella. It isn’t meant for that.Looks like it will last a couple years.Cleaning? It’s Parmesan. We just tap it out. Turn the wheel. Thoroughly. Back in drawer. Little to clean. Maybe we are weird, but it works. Sure. Could throw it in dishwasher. But really?I would pay a hundred dollars for a solid steel or aluminum grater like this that would last for decades. With a replacement grinder wheel. I looked and looked. But I can not find one. The restaurant we went to sixty years ago as a child had one. Or so I remember. Oh. So long ago. Ok. I give it two years. We see. Works well today.

It is easy to use, disassemble, clean, and reassemble, and the blades are very sharp. I wish there was a insert for softer cheeses, though.

Works perfectly! It shreds cheese to a pretty fine strand consistency which we’ve found to be perfect for topping dishes or mixing into dishes. It also easily disassembles to be put in the dishwasher.

This grater is amazing! It grates the cheese so easily and cleans up just as easily! I absolutely love it! It is easy to take apart for cleaning but still very sturdy. I believe I will be using this grater for a very long time!

Perfect! I absolutely love this cheese grater. I use it for Parmesan cheese. It makes the perfect size for topping salads or spaghetti. It is very easy to use. The cheese is grated into a cylinder that has one end open, so you can either hold it so none falls out while you are grating or tip it so the grated cheese comes out as you grate it. It is very sturdy, and turns easily.

Works reasonably well but the handle is definitely too short and it's a bit difficult to disassemble for cleaning. Cheaper units have worked better for me but this will last longer.
