Complete Medical Hand Eggsercizer, Medium, Blue, 0.16 Pound

I bought this for hand/grip strengthening. I also have the 3 pack 100-150-200 lb. Heavy Grips for crushing strength. I bought this more for "squeezing strength/endurance". I've recently taken up pistol shooting where you have to have a firm, strong grip on the firearm but not hold it so tightly that you shake (which would make you shoot off target). This product is PERFECT for what I want it to do, it has just enough resistance to challenge my medium-large hands in such a way that it allows me to develop strength and endurance to grip a pistol grip. I had bought a similar product that was more or less a rubber ball with sand in it, but that product did not provide the proper type of resistance (it was too easy to squeeze and did not conform enough to my squeezing grip).This product, by comparison, allows you to squeeze it into a smaller shape, yet it slightly retains that shape to your own natural grip until you keep squeezing or change positions. I liken it to the same dynamic in a "memory foam" pillow. It keeps the compressed shape but then returns to normal. If you are a pistol shooter, look at Ron Avery's "sticky grip" videos on youtube, this product will help you achieve that kind of firm but not too tight or shakey grip on a pistol. Please note: I do have arthritis in my hands and this product also seems very helpful for strengthening and keeping my grip active so I don't get stiff or sore hands. Hope this helps.

I had one of these years ago when I was a teenager that was just great and after many years it started to get tears so I purchased a couple new ones in "firm". Its pretty firm and I can play with it for quite a while but it certainly isn't as firm as I was thinking. If you want a real challenge then look up a Prohands or even get into the Captain of Crush series (I use both of those as well).As a rehab device the Eggsercizer is probably tops. It's also great as a stress ball. If you are looking for a real strength trainer... I'd look elsewhere.

I bought two of them thinking that i would be able to use them anywhere. I have not really used them as much as i like but they are nice. There shape helps fit into the palm of my hand so its more comfortable. I have the medium one and i think that works just fine for me. I found you have to squeeze it a while to make it softer. But it works great.

Item is very much as described, with regards to texture and firmness. However, the size was a bit smaller than I anticipated, and than what showed in their product pictures. I would have preferred a bit bigger so that it fills the hand better. A bigger size would provide better exercise ability. All in all, not bad, the smaller size still allows exercising and is easier to carry around.

I worked in occupational medicine for years, treating a variety of hand injuries in my practice. When I was diagnosed with a medical condition that affected my hand function; I tried this product. I've been using it faithfully every day for a couple years now. I would not trade my collection of four Eggsecisers for anything. wish that they came in an extra large size though. I have large hands.

Smaller grip than a tennis ball. Place the narrow end under your ring and middle finger and squeeze the hell out of it repeatedly. You will feel like youre scammin and jammin. Make sure you wear a bluetooth in your ear and have your shoes kicked up on your desk. People at the office will love you for it. On par with cracking gum noiselessly..

Perfect for strengthening my hand/wrist after my extensive wrist surgery. My physical therapist had a few different colors of these exact Eggsercizer and i loved using them so i bought one for myself to use whenever/wherever! My physical therapist was so happy i bought one! And so am i!And its a great investment because it can double as a "stress ball" down the road when my wrist is all healed, i can still use it as one of those squeeze balls for stress :)

After being encouraged by my Rhemutologist to purchase a "stress" ball to help with the stiffness in my hands I saw the Eggsercizer. I purchased the blue one. The shape fits my hand perfectly and after using for 3 days I can now bend my fingers down to touch my palm!!!! I saw a few reviews that mentioned a "smell". I have weekly allergy shots and am bothered by "perfumy" and chemical smells but didn't notice either of those. I HIGHLY recommend this product, you will not be disappointed.
