product was as described, shipping was very fast, being a jet product i have no doubt it will perform but we have not as of yet installed them

Didn't work at all
My dust collection barrel was a plastic barrel with a locking ring, so it was airtight. I smoke tested everything. Everything from sawdust to approximately 1/2" chips from a planer had more of it going to the blower than down to the barrel. It simply didn't work. I wound up just connecting the blower directly to the barrel and the intake hose to a different connection on the barrel, and that worked great. By the time you make your collection container airtight, it's easier to do it this way than to use the dust collector, and you save $200.Don't waste your time. It doesn't work, and you can make a better system without it. Fortunately, I figured this out early enough that I could return it.

So far so good.Mounted it on a large trash can lid.Works well and does what it is supposed to do.May invest in a 2nd one.

There are better products on the market
Bought this product to upgrade my dust collection system. I am disappointed by the performance. The fins, which are essential to causing the cyclone that separates the dust/chips from the air, repeatedly cause a clog when dealing typical chips caused by a helical head jointer. Over the course of a full day of milling down lumber with a jointer and planer I had to stop 6 times to clear the chips.When it comes to fine dust, this separator only collects about 40% and passes the rest on to the filter.Long story short, it doesn't do a great job at stopping fine dust and is easily clogged with moderate to small sized chips.

Clogs easily when sucking up larger chips.
I really wanted this to work for my shop due to it's smaller footprint, and neat design, but the fins in the inlet cause clogs when sucking up larger chips. Unfortuantly, I had to return this product.

This item does not work as advertised. Don't waste your money on it. The large chips move right past the adapter and go straight into my Jet Shop Vacuum system. It works nothing like it's advertised and shows on the videos. This is truly a waste of my money and is falsely advertised.

Jet cyclonic best collection no good for larger shops
I have had a jet cyclonic dust collection for just about 2 years and it's okay if you have a small shop and dust in light wood chips but with resin it backs up every time within 2 minutes of turning resin so we'll have to get something different find a just doesn't work well enough
