I've had my Instant Pot for over a year now and I'm very happy with it. I've not had an oven for the past two years, but the Instant Pot has made it possible for me to cook a wide variety of foods and not feel too deprived!PROS:* Easy to use* Easy to clean* A great size for a single person to cook food and have leftovers and would easily make stews/soups to serve multiple people* Both lids work well and it's easy to change between them* Cheaper to run than a full-size oven or a pan on the hob* If you are creative and not too worried about how your food looks when it comes out, you can fit things that would really prefer to go in an oven. For example, I've managed to fit full-sized pizzas into it, as long as I cut them into slices first and used two levels to cook them* Not too noisy for daytime use - I had mine in my living room for a while, and could watch something on my laptop (with headphones) at standard volumes with the Instant Pot distracting me. So probably ideal for bedsits or studio flatsCONS:* I'm not sure that all of the functions are truly needed as there's a lot of overlap between, for example, roast, bake and air fry. They all seem to result in much the same thing, so I suspect the "11-1" is more of a sales pitch than a true representation of what the Instant Pot actually does* While not very noisy, I felt it was still a bit too loud to run in my living room after my neighbours had gone to bed as I was worried it would disturb them. I'm quite concerned about such things though (e.g. only watch TV via my headphones) due to a fear of ever being considered That Neighbour!* It is quite big and you need extra space to store whichever lid isn't in use. I have a tiny kitchen (which is why it's currently being used elsewhere in my house) but even in a small to medium sized kitchen, this would probably have to be your main large worktop appliance. You'd struggle to have this AND a coffee maker AND a food processor AND an electric mixer.There are still some functions I haven't used (because my house is a bit of a building site right now) such as the yoghurt making setting or the sous vide setting. I may update my review once I've given all of the settings a whirl.
