A good old school automatic watch
A good, budget old school mechanical watch.Simple, straightforward, no nonsense.Looks good and comfortable to wear. Before buying I did read the other reviews, most were sensible and could appreciate this watch for what it is. Others did not quite grasp that this is a mechanical, automatic watch, it is not going to be as accurate as a quartz, digital or smart watch. Even Rolex and Omega watches have a + or - of a few seconds a day.For me personally I like the nostalgia of the watch and the fact you have to interact with it and adjust every now and again instead of sticking it on your wrist and forgetting about it.I also saw some negative comments about the strap. This is a personal choice but I like the strap very much. Its comfortable, great quality a good thickness and suits the watch perfectly. The more I wear this watch the more I like it.This is not an expensive watch but it has enough quality and character to make your kids fight over it when you die. Its one of them. Old fashioned, nostalgic people will know what I mean.

A budget Alpinist?
As far as I'm concerned, without trying too hard to be a budget Alpinist, it's a budget Alpinist; obviously, it doesn't have the cathedral hands or the cyclops date window. It might not have the top spec Seiko movement, but it's capable of a remarkable degree of accuracy for an automatic watch- it's consistently within a few seconds. I often change the strap on a new watch, but I like this one, it's comfortable and suits the watch. The dial is attractive and easy to read, a very dark shade of blue. The watch is robust, while it's had the occasional light knock, there are no scratches on the glass. I'm really happy with it.

Does all a watch should do.
Very pleasing design, on a high quality leather strap. Feels good not to have batteries and eco systems that suddenly stop after two or three years. Looks good. Feels good. Good buy.

Excellent
This is a great watch. I love everything about it. Not to big, clear to read, stylish blue face with gold numerals. Quality finish. Most importantly very accurate. I have not had to adjust it for three weeks. Just what I have been looking for for a long time.

Good value for what watch your buying
For an automatic watch for its price point it’s a fine investment. So far it’s been keeping time accurately, power reserve has kept the watching going when I’m sleeping. Fit and finish exceeds expectations of a watch for this price point. The only thing that would make it better is a screw down crow for additional waterproofing.

Very pleased
So far, and I have only had it for a week, this is a very fine thing. Sure, I would like a larger pip at 12, but it is so well designed that I am confident that those involved made a consdered decision, and thus I believe it was the right one. It loses about 12 seconds a day, but it's accurate enough and I already have other watches. All in all, not a sinle regret.
