Great if you prep first!
I bought this for my daughter to take her lunch to school in. The first day, I put hot food straight into it, but by lunchtime (about 4-5 hours later), she said it was barely warm. The next day, I tried a different method: I poured in boiling water, closed the lid, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then dumped the water and added her food. She said it was still hot at lunchtime! I've done this every day since, and no more complaints about cold food. So just make sure to preheat it first. It makes all the difference. Highly recommend once you get the prep routine down!Great Quality. Size is Perfect. Color looks great. It's a bit heavier than other thermos but not by much. Definitely worth the price. keeps food warm enough for my son's lunchtime at school. spork is cute. came with a tiny dent on lid upon receiving but simply cosmetic. works fine.

I love the design of this because I can pack any type of food or even tea. It stays hot for a long time so I don’t have to worry about my food getting cold. I love that it comes with a spork and isn’t bulky to carry around

Excellent quality thermos
I was very pleased with this Stanley thermos. I did pour hot water in it to “preheat it” while I prepared the soup on the stovetop that I was taking for my lunch. It held an entire 14.5 oz can of soup. I sealed the hot soup in the thermos at 7am and when I ate it at noon it was still almost too hot to eat. Very happy with my purchase!

Keeps food hot
This kept my food hot. I have no way to heat up food at my work. This was perfect. I just wish it was a little bigger. Seems very durable and classic Stanley look

Keeps the soup hot!
Brought this to prepare my mom's hospital stay. It is great for soup and this keeps the food warm for a long time. I'd say it's probably can last for 7 hours if I boiled the soup and just put it straight in.
