It keeps flies away from the immediate area, so that's a plus.One of the two items came with a slightly bent "wing", which causes that unit to make a slight whirring sound, but for that price, I couldn't really expect perfection.

One of them didn't work at all, didn't bother testing the second one. The packaging was also poor in the one I did test, it had clearly been opened.

Product broken while using itself. Strange. Very bed quality

Received 2 items yesterday, installed AAA batteries this morning. Only 1 out of 2 works properly.The second one only operates if I hold the power button.Due to effort of return and cheap item price can only give 2.5 start.The working item does its job as expected.

We love to eat on the patio and these little fans are perfect for keeping away the annoying flies and mosquitoes that want to join us. They are very quiet, are portable and don’t cause any disruptions in our meals. After eating outdoors at my house, my son asked me to get some for him so he can enjoy his outdoor space more.

When I bought my first set I was unsure whether it would work, but boy does it ever! It’s like magic! No fly swatting while we eat on our patio. We get so many questions about these. Everyone wants to buy them for their own patio. My only complaint is that there isn’t a storage bag for these. I wish they’d make one to make it easier to travel with them as we take these on our camping trips. One of the plastic fans ripped off because we were storing them in a bag with other things and they got jostled around. So we bought another set. Other than that I would highly recommend!

Having problems with eating outside and trying to keep the flies away? What else is new, but what’s strange is I didn’t see a device like this fly fan until moving to the coastal area of my state. This works perfectly for keeping any flying bugs away from your food while eating outside and is not overwhelming enough take away from the table setting and does spin fast enough to cool your food. It’s light, uses batteries, and is portable. We bring ours with us when we get together as a group to many of the outdoor restaurants in our area. In fact, some of them have their own which is why we finally purchased ours. The fan is reasonably priced and you get two, and is available in different colors. If you haven’t thought about getting this, buy one now, you’ll be happy you did!

It works! It kept flies and other bugs off our table and away from the lunch I served my guests at a winery!
