GREAT Lights! These are sturdy, the LED light is brighter than some other small flashlights I have. I have purchased about 6 of these LED lights, they are super handy to have around the house. I leave them in drawers everywhere, so I can always find one in a hurry.

Headlight S100 LED Pen light, This is excellent bright light, very strong beam though one strength only. Battery life is good. I use when walking dog a night. Plenty of power & not to bright as to disturb others. This is a second set as I changed batteries & dropped it . My fault as the lens end had been loosened hit floor lost a part! Good quality which is why I purchased 2 more. Also use when I wake at night & walk through the house very handy!

Here is the short of it: These things are a great value and well worth their price. Actually they are a bargain for what you get. I use my flashlights a lot due to aging eyes, a lot of work that needs good illumination and two dogs that I have to take out every night. I have been through a lot of flashlights, large and small and have learned what I like and what I don't. This light I love. What I like: Very reasonable price. In fact this light is worth much more than its humble price. Nice size and features. The simple push button on the end is easy to use and works well. The size of the light is very convenient and fits easily in a pocket out of the way. Brightness and color: This thing works much better than I could ever expect. I am just very impressed with its clean white beam and the brightness. I can walk my dog at night with just this little powerhouse. Build: It seems very well made for the price. Again, I have a lot of lights but none of the lower priced lights come close to this thing. I love it. Its just what I needed, sized right to carry in a pocket, nice and bright, built very well, simple and best of all it uses normal AAA batteries not some odd ball special or expensive battery like AAAA's or CR123's.. I use the Panasonic rechargeable and save even more money. Yes, I would buy it again without a thought. Fact is I think I will get some more and give them out at Christmas as a stocking stuffer.

While working in the medical field, I have found the GearLight S100 LED pocket pen light to be an invaluable tool, especially during the night shift in a large metropolitan hospital. I often use the pocket pen light to check up on my patients - to see if there are any problems with any of them. I often use the light during the course of a physical exam - whether night or day. Powered by 2 x AAA batteries, I have found the brightness to be stunning, and the ease of use to be amazing. With frequent use, I still get about 2 days of lifetime out of the batteries. And water resistance is a strong plus, especially when I was involved in water rescues. The value for the price is really its biggest selling point, and I have purchased the pen lights on numerous occasions for colleagues. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Awesome flashlight, after 2 weeks it started having issues staying on. I changed from alkaline to rechargeable batteries and haven't had a single problem since. FYI I use NiMh rechargeables.
