2 months in and happy with this oven.
We have had this oven installed for 2 month's now, I wanted to wait and use it awhile before giving it a true, honest review, I hope it helps you. This is a GREAT wall oven, if your looking for a simple wall oven that works well and doesn't cost a arm & leg I suggest buying this one. Its not a fancy model with a 100 buttons and internet and cameras, but it works great. It heats up fast and HOLDS the temperature very well. I went ahead and paid the money to have it installed (I am lazy) and for $150 bucks, I am glad I did. The installer was professional and did a great job!!TAKE NOTE: YOU need to have the new gas line (flex line) connection hose, stove doesn't come with one, BUT our installer was kind enough to drive to the hardware store and pick one up for us (yes he was that good!).All in all, we are 100% happy with this oven, it works as it should, its a reasonably priced oven that looks very nice, Perfect all the way in my opinion!! 5 Stars!!

great replacement
needed to replace a 1957 oven and this fit without tearing out the 1957 cabinets.Get Ready: Make sure you get the Trim Kit TKW700 to cover the gap above the oven as this unit is shorter than most old units. You may have to go to Summit Web site to find where to buy the trim kit as it may not be available on Amazon. While you are at the Summit WEB site, download the installation instructions so you can plan out what you will need to do for the install, like gas plumbing parts or if you have to modify the cabinetry. The unit is heavy, so you should have 2 people to lift it.Delivery: AM trucking was a pain as they gave a 4 hour window and came after that. You need to be at the location to receive it, which was the biggest problem for me as this was in a rental unit. Make use of the tracking information from the trucking company to make it less painful. You need to open the box and inspect the oven for damage before the delivery guys leave!Hook Ups: The oven plugs into electricity with a 3 prong plug for 110v. The most challenging part is the gas line, and you need to get it right. my old oven had the gas inlet at the top. This one comes in from the bottom. That meant cutting into the dry wall, adding black pipe to go down to bellow the oven compartment, add a gas valve, add a flex pipe to the front of the cabinet bellow. A hole in the bottom of the oven cabinet and then brass fittings to the inlet on the bottom of the oven to attach the supplied pressure regulator which has it's own shut off valve.Fit: Be aware that the nice towel bar handle on the oven door and broiler door stick out more than many old units, and may interfere with drawers at right angles to your oven (as it did mine, I had trim a bit of the drawer face). The face and the Trim Kit TKW700 rest on the face of the cabinetry. To finish install, after everything works, you need to open oven door and screw in to face of cabinetry and repeat with broiler door.It looks good, works well and use a glow bar instead of standing pilot, a very good improvement over my old oven.I like that it uses a thermostat knob instead of digital control, as the digital controls have longevity problems.

Good replacement wall oven for my mobile home
So far so good. The wall oven arrived strapped to a pallet with no damage, so the long shipping time was worth it. It is a bottom front gas mount so I had to get creative to allow my drawers to function properly. It is a front vent as well instead of the top vent that I replaced. This will be nice in the winter but not so much in the summer. With removal of the old oven and two trips to the hardware store it took me about two hours to install. I did have to shave about two inches off the top lip to the cupboard above to get it to fit. The depth is perfect. I love the slide out broiling pan! It also has a glow stick to light the burner, not a pilot light. I think this will be an upgrade as well.
