Perfect! Lightweight, several options, simple to use
I wasn't thrilled at the USB plug instead of a regular plug, but I found a power strip on Amazon with 4 USB ports, and I currently have three of these plugged in to that. The jack fits into the light nice and snug. I've had versions of these where the jack kept falling out, so that was a concern for me. I'm glad they fit well!There are many different lighting options with this. The first is a slow, smooth rotation through all the colors. This takes exactly 60 seconds. The second is a quicker click through all colors, with no bleed into the next color, just clicking to it. 3rd is white only, then red only, blue only, and green only. Then it clicks to off, and then you start over. The button on the front really is touch. LIGHT touch. Barely tap. Nice when you have a fragile thing on display and you don't want to bump it. I was also pleased to find that the shortish USB cords these come with will still work just fine if plugged into a USB extension cord. I bought one with a depression in the middle (the fluorite ball on the top shelf) and with the flat top. (the others in my video) The lighting seems exactly the same between the two styles, so I was able to use them in proximity to each other without them looking mismatched. Love these!

Perfect for my needs
I love this base for my crystal globe that has etched hummingbird in the glass hovering over a flower. My old base died because the batteries had leaked over time and it wouldn't work any longer. This one is so much better than the cheap base that came with my crystal. It has an outlet for a micro-mini usb cable so I can plug in the provided cable (which was too short to reach my wall outlet) or as I did, I used the 5 ft. cord I bought for my Kindle Fire and plugged it directly into the usb port on my 5 outlet wall adaptor that has a usb port on top. Now, it is plugged in all day with no batteries and I get to watch it cycle through all the colors. It is beautiful and more than I could ever ask for. Love this!!!

Better than expected
Bought this for a display cabinet and it work well and has a feature when lights change colour when something is on it. I did not expect that feature (may have said in item description but I don't remember) but it was a nice bonus.
