Nourison Home Somerset Latte 2'3" x 10' Area Rug - Easy Clean, Non Shedding, Bed Room, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen (10' Runner)

I've been looking for a rug that would go with our furniture and room colors and I was having a hard time finding a rug that would work for a reasonable price. When I came across this one it seemed like the perfect rug: it was the right size (7'9" x 10'0"), the colors and asymmetrical design seemed like they would work for where I wanted to use it and the price was very reasonable. Now that I have it installed I absolutely love it. The colors were perfect - what the pictures don't show is that it has some bronze to it (it works with the bronze in the artwork on the wall) and there is a definite nap to the rug so which way you vacuum or brush it will affect the look of the rug somewhat. The rug itself is not especially thick although it appears to be well made. I had ordered a rug pad to use with this (purchased on AMAZON: Mohawk Home Dual Surface Felt and Latex Non Slip Rug Pad, 8'x10', 1/4 Inch Thick) and combined with the pad the rug feels much thicker and very comfortable. Note that the rug matched the advertised dimensions and arrived rolled up and covered in plastic. Once it was rolled out the inside end had a little curl to it but flattened out within a couple of minutes. I definitely recommend this rug, although I would also suggest that you order a rug pad to go under it.

This is a lovely rug, very attractive and comfortable to walk on. The color might be a little lighter than it looked online, but it’s pretty close. The leaf design is carved, so it really stands out. It seems thick and plush, and the binding on the edges is tight and well stitched. It does look like it’s been stored for a while, and it didn’t want to unroll. I rolled it up the opposite way, and hopefully that will take care of the curled edges. My mail carrier is going to hate me, because I’m ordering the 8 foot round one for my living room next.

This rug is even more gorgeous in person than online. Soft, excellent quality, colors are vibrant. I take off one star because after having it for jearly two weeks the ends still curl up and I they have sat with heavy books on them for weeks and wtill not resolved. Also, it moves on my hardwood floors and had to buy something to put under it to keep them from doing so. I think in time it will relax.

Great quality. Lays and stays flat. Used at couch, under coffee table so gets a lot of wear but it's very durable. Very, very happy with this product.

My rug photo is not a true color in front of the sofa, because the actual color matches the sofa perfectly as you can see in the second photo with the table and chairs. This is not a red accent, but true burgundy which is what I wanted. The background colors are shades of light tan to caramel, so it will blend great with a lot of furniture fabrics in that range. I ordered a rug pad as suggested by others. I got the thick 1/2" dual by Mohawk Home. That gives an appearance of a more expensive rug because of the deeper plush feel and look. I also ordered Zongool rug tape for the corners and that works well. I didn't order a pad for the square rug under the table since we won't be walking on it or using very often. The shipping time was only two days. The design and colors have made the room cohesive and the sound quieter.

I have bought similar carpets from Amazon.com and the quality was higher. They were distributed by Safavieh. This carpet is not as soft and seems more synthetic.
