Make sure it works for your surface
We used it once for a light surge and it worked. We used it to surround the pool and the garage door. The first surge was less than 1 foot. The second surge was over a 1 foot and stronger. It pushed the barriers apart and the water went into the pool. We are not sure but wondered if the porous surrounding of the pool deck allowed the water under the barrier. We had to find a cover for the pool.
