If I could only have 1 glue on hand, I'd first have a tiny melt-down, then I'd choose Duco Cement.
There are some household products that I'm obsessed about, one being glues/adhesives. I keep quite a few different adhesives on hand so I'm always likely to have the right one, for the right job, at the right time. One that I ALWAYS have is Duco, and I use it more often for a couple of reasons: 1. It's good for a wide variety of gluing jobs with a dependable track record of holding long term where others can fail over time. 2. Unlike Super Glue or a number of other adhesives, this one maintains its viscosity to the last drop (provided you seal and store it correctly, of course). Where some adhesives are easy to dispense and use at first, they can quickly begin to harden or thicken, sometimes to the point of rendering a large portion unusable. Duco Cement's gel consistency is easy to dispense, easy to control, doesn't plug up the nozzle and maintains that malleable consistency to the very end. Buying a single tube of Duco can be rather expensive, so I look for these bulk deals, which lowers the cost considerably. On this 6-tube offer, the price per tube comes out to a reasonable $2.66/each. That's a good value for a great product!

Good adhesion, a tad messy to use.
Duco cement has been a staple in my home repair arsenal for many years. The six pack was a good deal and will keep me from complaining that I'm out of Duco when facing an emergency repair requirement for quite a while to come. I took off an "easy to use" star as I still haven't mastered its' use without gluing my fingers together. My skill issue, but I keep looking for a technique or packaging feature that will keep my fingers "glue free".

Needed a glue that would glue plastic poles of solar flaming walkway lamps together
Had my walkway lights stolen, needed to put the plastic pole parts together and glue them tight to keep the parts from being separated and the lamps stolen next time. Glue worked great but took a few hours for a strong bond. Now the pole segments are glued together and the whole apparatus is secured in cement with part of the pole structure 10 inches under ground to prevent theft in the future with my replacement lamps.

Arrived ahead or promise
Duco cement is a multi-purpose glue that has been in the marketplace for many decades. It is particularly good for repairing broken ceramic or glass items. I bought a 6-pack to get a lower unit cost. It arrived ahead of the forecast date.

Good value for most repairs.
I was so happy to find Ducco Cement online. I like this product better than super glue. Yes, you have to wait for it to set and cure, but it doesn't stick your fingers together. I use it for most common household repairs and once it sets it is fairly strong.

Fixed a bug shield/wind deflector with it!
I've used a tube of it for several projects and I've come to really like this. We live in an area where its not very easy to just run down to a hardware store or order something and wait for it to arrive when a simple repair will work. This stuff even repaired a bug guard that we have on the front of our pickup! The bug guard had completely broken in two. I set the piece up on a work bench and glue the two pieces together and let them sit over night. I was skeptical as to how well it would last but its been over two months ago that I reinstalled it and its still holding up as we bounce over very rough roads in four wheel drive and fly down the highway at 90 mph. I'd say its worth having a tube around. It doesn't dry rapidly like super glue but if its worth saving/fixing its worth waiting 24 hours for it to dry up good. But it and keep it on hand....you won't regret it. (End of commercial) :-)

Amazing adhesion
This stuff is incredible. Besides it's use in model building, I've used it to attach two metal pieces - joining a 1-1/2" barrel for a CMOS camera to a 9x50 sighting scope. It's been a couple of months and it is still holding. I highly recommend it!

Duco Cement works well
I have used Duco Cement to glue things for many years . In the last few years, it has been difficult to find in the stores. I have tried other products but was never satisfied. I was so happy to be able to get it on Amazon. Buying 6 tubes was very economical. I shared them with my family.
