Fire Cam 1080p Helmet Camera (US)

Awesome!! Good battery. Only used it on one fore but, so simple! Easy, one touch to turn on amd start, then one touch to turn off/stop video. Clear picture!! Pretty decent sound. Doesn't register on any of my computers tho. Had to get a micro SD card reader. Tried on Hp, MacBook air, and an old Dell. None of them registered i. Got the micro SD card reader and plugged that in my phone instead of the whole camera, and it was great.

Easy to use, long battery life, I have used it in a couple of fires. Not a huge fan of the screws to hold the camera, but the mount works

Had for a out 3 months now. Takes great videos. I use it to review fire calls and make videos. Definitely worth the price.

Like, come on—how do you expect us to get the footage off? We ended up scrambling for cables just to download videos. • For the price, a cord should be a given. It’s not a “throw it and hope” camera; it’s a serious tool that deserves serious accessories. ⸻ ✅ Verdict: If you want a rugged, high-quality helmet cam for firefighting or any extreme job, this one’s a winner. Just make sure you have your own cords handy, or prepare for some extra tech scavenging. TL;DR: Great camera for the job, but don’t forget the cords—or you’ll be filming forever and never watching. Minus one star for not coming fully equipped with the proper cord for downloading.

We purchased this item as a gift for our son who is going to firefighting. Luckily it came it's just before he did his live fire training. It was amazing to see what a fireman seeds when they go into a burning building. And I believe items like this as he gets further into his career. It could offer a potential for evidence.They're not able to get by them being able to see things inside of a burning building. You just have to remember to turn it on before you go in. He is extremely thrilled with this item as we are also.

Video quality is great; low-light video could be better, but if you have a flashlight pointed in the same direction, it won't matter. The vibration and auditory beeps make it easy to identify what status the camera is in without looking at it (on/recording, standby, off). This camera is not intended for training scenarios or where prolonged exposure to high-temperatures is expected - BUT I have used it in live-fire training multiple times and it's still kickin. That being said, I do have a friend who managed to melt one of these while training, so be cognizant of the temperature and duration of exposure. Comes with two batteries, but I've used this on and off for an entire training day without needing to recharge or switch out batteries, still good to have just incase. The 16g sd card that it comes with is enough for quite a bit of recording, but if you do plan on using this for long training days, I would recommend a bigger card; Just make sure it's a class 6 or 10 memory card, according to the manual, it will not operate properly with other classes of cards. The mic location is in the back of the camera which means audio quality isn't great, it picks up the wearer's voice and anything behind pretty well but everything in front of the wearer is muffled or inaudible
