Sun Joe SPX-FC34 34-Ounce Snow Foam Cannon for SPX Series Electric Pressure Washers, w/Transfer Adapter

Used yesterday for the first time. Once I figured out the controls it worked awesome. Lays down some serious foam. I use in conjunction with the 1000 series SunJoe (which is pretty darn good for a cheap PW) I washed the boat and wife's car. laid down foam, let it soak briefly, then used our wash mop lightly. Rinsed off with PW and they air dried. I used the Chemical Guys concentrated wash & wax and it works fantastic. No residue, dries without spots and leaves a great shine. This foam cannon also reached to the top of the eaves on a raised ranch. I foamed the siding and rinsed with PW. Wasn't too dirty but now I know it can be used to wash the house siding too. I can see from the other reviews the potential for snapping off the bottle if not careful. It is the weak point in the whole apparatus. Ill unscrew and store separately..

So just opened mine up to find that the bottle neck was already broken inside the nozzle section. Looks like it was pre-assembled and shipped. I dont know why you would pre-assembled it when the box is big enough to avoid doing that. Must have snapped while in transport. Gonna return it and order another, hopefully it doesn't happen a second time. Will update when new one arrives and I get to try it.Edit : New one came in with no problems. Works like a charm and really enjoy this sprayer. Worth the purchase!

As others have posted, the SPX-FC34 bottle nipple (screw part) that attaches the bottle to the foam cannon shears off easily (see picture) with normal use. The foam cannon works well, but without the bottle, it is not of much use. Sun Joe seems to leave a standard reply on these reviews to contact their customer support at 866-766-9563, however, I have called this number from home, work, and cell, and calls do not go through. I ended up going to the Sun Joe web site and submitting a ticket on-line. Sun Joe's response was to register the product first, before they would attempt to help. To register the product, their web site REQUIRES a serial number, but I could find no serial number on the product. When I submitted the on-line support ticket, I included the Amazon invoice as a PDF to show proof of purchase, and, apparently, this is not good enough for them. I am more than dismayed with Sun Joe's handling of this matter and would recommend you go with another manufacturer's foam cannon for peace of mind, because you will not get this from Sun Joe.

The soap I use is from Protect-It, called "Wash and Wax It". It's thicker than I expected it to be (dilution is 164:1), and the detergent bottles on my pressure washer (Sun Joe SPX3000) couldn't handle it. So, I bought this. I had to turn up the adjuster almost all the way, but the results were fantastic. The spray is adjustable from wide to narrow (for those that want to foam blast one specific spot for whatever reason). I tend to leave it on the wide setting as it better coats my vehicles.As others have pointed out, you may have to swap out the adapter in order to use this on your particular model pressure washer (such as the Sun Joe SPX3000). This is inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. The bottle doesn't seem overly tough (it's no Nalgene, folks), so make sure you're not trying to use it for leverage AND take care not to drop or put other pressure on it.Overall I'm a fan and it's been a great addition to my pressure washer toolkit.

My wife's green car quickly turns white from the thickness of the foam. However, even at the maximum setting there's still a lot more water than I'd prefer and that rinses the soap off in a matter of seconds instead of minutes. Also, the hose inside the bottle leaves about 1-2 oz of unreachable soap mixture. My sprayer doesn't stop at the ends of the fan/stream adjustment, and it can't be twisted backwards. Not sure if this is by design or faulty, but if I go for a wide fan and twist slightly too far I get a tight stream and have to fine tune the fan spray again.I bought this cannon just over 3 years ago, and I've probably used it a total of 100 times. Sadly when I went to wash my car this weekend I found that the neck of the bottle had split along the thread line. I suspect this may be a manufacture defect that took a couple years to present itself. The cannon started leaking after a year from where the bottle screws into the sprayer, but it was so minor that I didn't really look into why. I think a solid brass fitting would make more sense for something that is regularly removed/installed like a pressure bottle. None the less, for the price I did get 3 years of use. If they sold a replacement bottle by itself I'd just buy one of those.I'm looking at a wide base cannon to replace this as the empty bottle with the sprayer topples over when I set it down in my wash kit or between cars. Also the wider bottles spread the internal pressure around a larger neck so hopefully it's less likely to split around the threads. Additionally the lack of a built in or included quick connect is disappointing since the Sun Joe lances all have quick connects on the end. Just another $7 part that other brands include.

Perfect transaction. Works as described. I have read that it is brittle and the bottle tends to snap off. I have yet to drop it, perhaps because I read the other reviews and take great care not to!

The foam cannon worked as advertised. Plenty of thick, suddsy foam using Chemical Guys product.HOWEVER... I have spent over $100 trying to attach quick connects with no success. Sunjoe's fittings are different than most others. ( 15 mm vs 14 ). They do provide an adapter but it must be screwed on.So far I have bought 7 different quick connects and still can't get things hooked up!( I have heard that the neck of the sow foam bottle is prone to break, so I am being very careful when using it.

The Sun Joe SPX-FC34 is a great foam cannon that works really well with the Sun Joe Premium Snow Foam Cannon Car Wash Soap and Cleaner (Pineapple) that I use. The bottle is huge at 34 oz which I never need to fill above 12 oz because it is so efficient at evenly drawing out the liquid. The foam is very thick and consistent coming out of the foam cannon nozzle which allows the soap to really soak up surface dirt for 5 minutes before being cleaned off with a pressure washer. Highly recommended.
