Easy to Install
These pegs were super easy to install. I simply drilled a small hole into my wall, and then screwed the peg into the wall by hand. I'm only using these to hang lightweight straw hats on my wall, so I didn't bother with the anchors, but it was nice to see those were included.

Great for hats/purses
These look great and more than hold hats and purses. Very happy with this purchase!

Great for Hats
These work nicely for hanging the all the outdoor hats we own, in the mudroom. I like the deeper 3" ones, since many of our hats have tall crowns or band heights. The pegs look nice when there isn't a hat hanging on them, and I like that. Only four stars because one was defective, but my handsome hubby was able to jury-rig a repair for that one.

Good if installed with the right hardware
Thanks to the many other reviewers who pointed out installation challenges, I ordered a set of these 1/4 inch x 2-1/2 inch hanger bolts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0052EBH4W/I found the drywall anchors provided with the coat/hat pegs worked fine with these longer hanger bolts. You just need to drill a 3/8 inch hole in your drywall, being careful to keep the drill perpendicular to the wall. Then carefully push the anchor in until it is flush with the drywall.Next I used two 1/4 inch hex nuts and screwed them on to the machine screw side of the hanger bolt. If you hold the first nut on with a pair of pliers while you tighten the second nut on, they will be locked together and won't turn on the bolt. Then take a 7/16 inch wrench and use the two nuts to slowly screw the hanger bolt into the wall until only about 3/4 inch of the machine screw remains.Use the pliers again to keep the nut that is closer to the wall from turning as you loosen the other nut with your wrench. Then you can use your fingers to remove both nuts.Lastly, screw the hanging peg onto the protruding machine screw end of the hanger bolt. As soon as the peg touches the wall surface, slow down and continue to turn until the peg faces up the right way.If you happen to have an electronic stud finder like I do, check the wall where you are going to mount the pegs to see if you will hit a stud anywhere. Two of mine did, so I used a smaller drill bit (7/32 inch) to drill through the drywall and into the stud. Then I just used the same technique with the two nuts I explained above to screw the hanger bolt into the stud.

Very sturdy loved them
Loved how long they are. I adapted them to convert this decor in a towel holder for behind my guest bathroom

Quality stuff!
I used these for baskets in my kids bathroom. Set up was super easy, and the hardware included is really nice and heavy duty! Took me about 10 minutes to do this and it made such a difference in this small space. I used a 3/8 drill bit for the drywall screw and it was a decent fit.

I used one to hang a pretty cutting board
Several years ago, someone gave me a very pretty wooden cutting board for a housewarming gift. I’ve had it leaning up against the wall next to my sink in the kitchen as a decoration for many years, but often it would get in the way or fall over. I decided to order these Hanging pegs and use one of them to hang the cutting board on the side of my cabinet by the kitchen sink. It blends wonderfully and looks very nice while keeping the cutting board off of the countertop now.
