My daughter just started doing ballet n she's only 3, almost 4... they wanted me to get her outfit from the store they work with which was CRAZY PRICED so I've gotten her each piece from amazon and I cut the price in half and then some! Lol this liotard actually is awesome n fits her perfectly!!! U just MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO WASH IT ON THE TAG!!! THE TAG SAYS TO HAND WASH N HANG DRY! Now if u don't do this and u just throw it in a washer and dryer every time it will a) shrink and b) start to pill... so follow the wash instructions and u will have an awesome low priced liotard for your child that is gonna last you!!! My daughter has been wear this every Monday for the last 2 months. They have been washed multiple times and I did what most suggested and I hang them to dry. They are perfcet for her dance practices.

I bought several of these leos for my daughter's gymnastics team for their halloween costumes. The girls are all between 8 and 10 years old, but the size 8-10 was too big on all of them. The size 6-8 fit them, but beware, although the material is soft, it is very thin. They turned out to be ok for a week's worth of wear for halloween, but I wouldn't purchase them as a main workout leotard.

I got a size 8-10 for my average size 9 year old - this was massive on her! It was very saggy in the rear and not a good fit at all. I would recommend sizing down to have a better fit. For comparison, I am 5'1" 125 lbs and the 8-10 size fit me over my clothes! Good thing is it has stretch so if you like your leotards baggy than purchase your normal size but if you're like us and want them to fit correct, you should size down. Needless to say, this didn't work out for us and will be going back.

The perfect color for a tinker bell costume. Plus she has a gymnastics Leo afterwards. Decent quality for price.
