Dee Zee DZ372521 3" Round UltraBlack Nerf Steps

I installed a pair of DeeZee nerf steps on this truck back in 2006. They were sturdy and, only recently, began to rust out. Since the originals held up so well, I purchased another DeeZee product. The new ones were fairly easy to install with a decent impact. My problem is that they have some give when you use them as a step. They mounted easily in the old holes but the center braces are different and not as robust as the old ones. It's a decent product, but the quality is not quite what it used to be.

Wasn't a exact fit

Fit great. I had to pay someone to install these because I could not get enough torque on the rear body bolt to get it lose. Very happy with this purchase. Just put these on my truck, but had the exact same product (only shorter) on a regular cab silverado that held up great.

Does not come with all necessary hardware for a 2015 Chevy 1500 Double cab.Directions state to use existing bolts when installing, but they do not supply washers that fit existing bolts.Also, the center support does not mount properly. I was only able to attach it with one bolt to the included mounting bracket. It should have two bolts installed per the directions.Everything looks fine, but I would not trust it to support much weight in the center due to the support only having one bolt. When a product states that it fits a specific model, I expect it to come with all necessary parts and mount properly, this did not. I would not buy Dee Zee product again.

bought from warehouse deals,received in very poor condition so I sent it back.

Are these genuine Dee Zee nerf steps or generic? The treads don't say "Dee Zee" on them like my old ones do or like the product photos show. Did get what I paid for??

Great fit. It isn't for the person whose never turned a wrench. You have to remove frame to body Bolts. But it's not a problem.

Fit great and easy install would recommend them to anyone...wife loves them much easier to get into truck for her
