Bought to hand out at work . Great .
Very handy , bought for work as we are located in a heavy public and busy road.Accidents happen . Now everyone is prepared to help those in need and feel that little bit more confident and secure that they will be protected as well .

Seems to work
I’ve attended two first aid for work courses at St John!s Ambulance- which isn’t saying much. They emphasised infection control- so these have a one way valve. . I’ve never done this for real and only attended one concussion accident. If you place the device with the writing uppermost and clamp your mouth around the plastic ring encased in the film tightly as you breath in, then yes it does seem to work. (Also you are supposed to tip the victim’s head back and pinch their nose as you blow in- but check an online video). Anyway I got the dummy to breathe the second time.Basically the ambulance won’t be coming anytime doon. There is no fancy pants healthcare- I’ve heard of a teenager stuck in the freezing cold for 3 hours with a complex leg fracture. Carry round a couple of these and foil blankets. You can always pass it to someone more gung ho.

Great for the price.
Every vehicle should have at least 1 of these. Great value, as it’s best to keep 1 in all your travel bags in my opinion.

For work first aiders
Felt it would be a good practice for the staff at my work to have their own shield in case of emergencies. These are perfect for the job

Essential CPR aids.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a way to save someone’s life when they stop breathing and their heart stops. It’s not difficult to do, but it’s not something that can be shown how to do on here. I strongly recommend you look further into getting the training. St John's Ambulance and the Red Cross offer courses, or you can just learn online. The problem with giving the mouth-to-mouth part of CPR is cross infection. Not only that, though, I personally don’t like the idea of getting so personal with a complete stranger. These face shields are just the answer. Not only do they add a plastic barrier, but also offer a one-way air valve. This will stop the patient's expelled air from entering your mouth. There are 20 face shields in this pack. Each one is separately bagged in a resealable plastic bag along with quick instructions on how to use it. 20 shields are rather a lot, but remember that accidents don’t just happen where you need them to. Think of all the places where you might need them such as the car, handbags, coats, etc., and plenty around the house or office. Remember, you won’t have a lot of time to go searching for them in a real emergency.Overall, essential CPR aids. I hope that helps.

Does the job
I got this for my cadets to useThis is a pack of single us each shield is individually wrapped allowing for easy use. I have a motto i teach my cadets Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance, my cadets know you have to be readyThese single use face shields are well made and durable the one way valve is well made and to be honest really easy to use, the plastic face part does the job well of providing a barrier between the casualty and the person carrying out CPR, under currant standards rescue breaths are not required unless you are preforming CPR for a long period as oxygen reserves in body will fall. However as we know the standards change regularly and rescue breaths may well return once all the covid restrictions are fully liftedOver all at £11.66 that’s £0.58 per unit its a good cost
