The "feel" of the marker is waxy, but it does not bleed through page, it covers beautifully, is light enough to read text easily, yet has a bold color and yet provided clear, noticeable coverage.

I bought these Highlighters & Pens because I'm always on the lookout for good quality highlighters that do not bleed through various types of paper. Although these are intended for bible journaling, I am not using these for this purpose. Instead, I use these to write and highlight in my agenda, in my notebooks and on study flash cards. So, these are mostly used on cardstock paper, on standard college-lined paper and also on 120 gsm dotted paper. This pastel set includes 5 fine point tip pens and 5 gel highlighters in the colors : Yellow, Pink, Blue, Green and Orange. The highlighters have a twist-up design and can be sharpened for finer tip and better precision.The highlighters do not bleed through any of the paper that I have used them on. They are good quality and although not all the colors are actually pastels, they still are nice colors. They glide on the paper smoothly and they do not smudge. Having said that though, it's worth mentioning that the surface onto which they are applied, does stay a bit tacky for a little while. Once the gel dries down however, the tackiness goes away. The pens have a fine tip and they write really well. I like the slim barrel look they have and they have great pigments to them. All the colors make my planners pop. Love the highlighter, really doesn't sip through when highlighting on the bible

This is my fourth order of these pens. I and my husband use the and have gifted them to friends as well. The wax pens are great as they do not bleed through thin Bible pages.

I love this set!! I have purchased many bible highlighters gel and traditional, these are the best and I will not be looking any further.Yes with gel highlighters you have to be gentle or you get clumps, that is the nature of the beast with any gel highlighter. I found these to be less clumpy if I push harder. Others I have found to be clumpy even if I press oh so lightly. The colours do not show threw like other gels have.The gel pens are fantastic as well, they do not show through your pages either. I also ordered some sharpie s gel pens and found that BELIEVE are way nicer than sharpie! They glide so nice across the page and feel really nice in your hand.The sharpener is a really good metal one that pencils fit in nice and snuggly good quality, not some dollar store crap.Pencils are really nice too, I love the scriptures written on them and they write really nice and smooth, not gritty at all.Pencil crayons are nice as well, bold if you push harder and very mute if you push softly.I am so happy with this purchase I will be ordering more from this company. This will also be my go to company for gifting, and stocking our church supplies.Awesome set at an affordable price I highly highly recommend this product!
