Whatsapp is still available for Nokia S60 devices; however not sure for how long (as Whatsapp is slowly removing compatibility with old phones).Here's the download link: https://www.whatsapp.com/nokia/Yes, you can check emails; however you should check with your email provider if they provide a specific app for Symbian, or if you have to use a 3rd party. Keep in mind the Nokia/Ovi store is no longer available, so access to 3rd party apps is nowadays very limited.
